밀로 컬렉션 호텔(Milo Collection Hotel)

A remodeled Spanish colonial building that stayed true to its original style with modern conveniences in the room. A short walk to the zócalo, historic biblioteca and very good restaurants. The staff was very helpful and even accommodated us with an early hour continental breakfast on our last morning.

I’ve had two nights now at the Milo Collection Hotel and am loving this hotel. Great room, great cushy bed, bathrobes, thick towels, good WiFi and tech (Alexa to control tv, ac, etc.), great staff, great location. If it is in your price range, you will be well pleased, I think. At this point in time, I find myself thinking “I don’t want to stay anywhere else when I come to Puebla”. This trip I’ve taken in January of 2024, well, it’s like this. One of the challenges in Mexico is/are hard as concrete hotel beds. And it doesn’t matter the price of the hotel room, as many places buy the harder mattresses because they last longer. I checked out a hotel here in the $250 price range and the bed was like concrete so cost per night isn’t a factor. The place that we always stayed here in Puebla closed. We found a good hotel back in October, but I decided to return for two weeks and change hotels every two days in order to try a bunch. And in addition, I visited many more to check out the rooms and beds. Hotel Milo connects all the dots. I’m so happy that it was one of the hotels that I short listed to try out for two nights. Warm water in the shower (first night) in January, one of the colder months here. I talked the great staff. They increased the water temperature and the next day, showering, was fantastic. Hot and terrific water pressure. The terraza is great. Nice city view at night.”

Our stay here was AMAZING!! The staff, Ari, Ismael and Johnathan are just the best ever. They made us feel like we were home. They stopped at nothing to make our stay the most comfortable. Ismael was so kind and served us up the greatest breakfast on the Terrance. Always had a smile on his face to welcome us in the mornings. And Ari was also so amazing. Always so sweet and joyful and willing to help me with any travel or sight seeing I needed!! I just can’t say enough good things. Upon check out we took pictures with Ari and Ismael and they walked us to our Uber and we all hugged goodbye. It was like saying good bye to family. We can’t wait to go back!!

A beautiful hotel in a perfect spot for enjoying Puebla! We stayed Sat-Monday and were very impressed by Milo's service and attention to detail. Staff provided information about local restaurants and sites to see as well as transportation coordination for MEX airport. Beds were luxurious and the bathrooms were modern and well stocked with supplies for our stay. Our room had extra blankets and robes/slippers too. Our room had a balcony to the street and a small seating area with desk. In the lobby we found snacks throughout the day and fresh coffee and pastries each morning.

Encontré este maravilloso hotel Collection y no me arrepiento haberme hospedado allí con mi esposo. La ubicación es excelente cerca del centro, a un costado de una Iglesia que en las tardes frescas desde la terraza-comedor al meterse el sol podíamos admirar su cúpula y a lo lejos el volcán Popocatepetl. El personal te recibe siempre con una sonrisa y atienden todo lo que uno necesite desde una copa de vino, agua, indicaciones para llegar a donde uno quiera dirigirse, hasta darte tips de esta hermosa ciudad de Puebla. Verónica y Erick los de recepción son encantadores. La habitación tiene todas las comodidades, todos los días te dejan agua fresca con una ramita de hierbabuena y galletas hechas por la chef. La decoración es ideal para una casona del siglo XIX tanto en su interior, su patio, la terraza ... este lugar merece un comentario puntual. Es hermosa del lado derecho se puede observar la ciudad, el Pico de Orizaba, los campanarios y cupulas de las iglesias y del otro lado como ya mecione la Cúpula de la Iglesia de La Soledad. Allí te sirven el desayuno a cargo de la chef que esta muy bien logrado, cada platillo llega a la mesa muy bien presentado y te dan unos muffins recién hechos de coco y de chocolate. Esta cerca del Museo Amparo y del Zocálo de la ciudad muy accesible a muchos puntos de interés turístico. Elisa la gerente siempre está atenta al huésped y a que todo marche sobre ruedas y te sientas cuidado en todo momento. Lo recomiendo ampliamente. Vale la pena hospedarse y disfrutar de MILO.
