발리오 오네토 데이 프린치피 디 산 로렌초 - 럭셔리 와인 리조트(Hotel Baglio Oneto dei Principi di San Lorenzo - Luxury Wine Resort)

The hotel itself is lovely, the rooms are big and airy, check-in was easy, the manager on reception who greeted us and checked us in was superb, very friendly, took pride in his work and clearly loved the Baglio. The lunch menu is the same as the evening menu, and nothing really excites us on the menu. We had thought there would have been salads or light bites on the lunch menu, nothing like that. Dinner was average, we had expected more from this hotel. We booked the wine tasting, this was average too, 4 wines to try, the merlot was not available to try, however was available to buy?? I asked a question about the olive oil manufacture, as we were told they had 250 olive trees, I asked how much oil this would produce each year, he was unable to answer this. The wine is average, we never bought any as we had expected to do, we had planned to buy a crate and ship some home, along with some olive oil. Breakfast was lovely, the best food during our stay. Checking out was quick, we where not asked if everything had been ok or if we had enjoyed our stay. It was not the lovely gentleman who had checked us in and provided us with a local welcome drink. Would we stay again, yes, however only on a bed and breakfast basis.

We spent 4 nights at the Baglio Oneto Hotel. I was disappointed. The hotel has a mandatory flight of stairs to get to and from any hotel room. There is a ramp, but it is uncovered and outside. My husband has a fractured knee - this was a major inconvenience. The hotel has a wonderful front desk staff, very friendly. the restaurant was very nice. Service was sometimes good, sometimes inadequate. The rooms appear to have been renovated recently. The room has several issues. The hotel rooom has poor accomdation for computers or phone charging. There are no plug-ins for charging devices on either side of the bed. You are limited to a single plug on the desk. The hotel room has anti-theft hangers. Which are a pain, you cannot hang clothes or remove clothes easily. The sheets were brittle. Both of our rooms had king beds which are two twins pushed together which are not ideal for couples. The bathrooms appear to be recently renovated as well. The bathrooms are small for a 5 star resort. There are two towel racks total in the room for the towels 2 hand towels and 2 shower towels. If you use one there is no place to put it other than the floor. There is limited space for your stuff - just the side of the sink, which in our case got crowded. All in all, the hotel was a disappointment.

My husband and I have just returned from a 5 day stay at this first class hotel. We were blown away by the friendliness and professionalism of the staff, the beautiful surroundings and ,most of all, the delicious food and wine. The pool area is lovely with far reaching views to the coast. Rooms are characterful, if a little dated :we preferred this to the normal blandness of many hotel bedrooms. The whole hotel was immaculately clean. The wine experience is well worth doing and informed us on our wine choices throughout our stay. We plan to return next year! Sonya UK

Best winery five star luxury hotel you can experience in Sicily. Curteous team, fine cuisine, stunning pool, wine tasting session that’s a must to try, bicycle ride along and within the grape farm fields, more than 300 olive trees in the estate where one can taste and enjoy its fine olive oil.. Just Amazing and would advice a stay between 3 to 5 nights and nothing less to get the chance to get the feel and experience a sunny Sicilian summer!

A lovely gem hidden away. Wine tour guide was the best guide ever had. All staff members were polite and helpful, and the swimming pool was clean with a lovely view of the hills. Rooms were large and comfortable with soft beds and ample pillow.

Surrounded by wine yards with excellent views to the see , this place is worth to stop by and enjoy their facilities and wines. The staff is very professional and service oriented. I would recommend the wine tasting experience. Giacoppo, the sommelier, really transmit his passion for his job making the tasting very enjoyable.

Constant immersive experience; surrounded by fine wines, exceptional food and the friendliest and most helpful members of staff. The hotel’s sommelier was on hand to advise wine and food pairings and he lead an hour’s group wine tasting which sampled four wines (and one olive oil) produced by the surrounding vineyards. The landscape and surrounding views are second to none during the day and all through the night, overlooking infinite rows of grape vines, rolling hills of Western Sicily into the sea towards the islands and lights twinkling in the town below. Our room (overlooking vineyards at the back of the grounds) was spacious with a little balcony, it had the most comfortable bed and the housekeeping team did a fantastic job of maintaining the room throughout the day and in the evening. A really peaceful stay. A little gem of pure happiness. We would love to stay again! (also, worth noting: it made a beautiful wedding venue!)

We started our visit with a winery tour led by Giacomo, a young passionate sommelier. It was a great start to a relaxing stay. The pool is very nice and the grounds have a desert beauty about them including warm coordinated colors of the various stucco townhome-style buildings. We had a thoroughly enjoyable couples massage under the stars which was as fun as it sounds.

Beautiful, well-maintained hotel in a wine growing area of Sicily. The restaurant and wine tasting were fun and high quality. Our only complaint was that the hotel was very hard to find, even with GPS. Also the wifi did not work.
