Stayed at the Minerva as part of a Riveria tour. A nice hotel on the outskirts of Arezzo (about a 20 minute walk to the gates of the town or take a bus). Clean rooms, helpful staff, a good breakfast, plenty of parking - and if you have never been to Arezzo, a delightful historic town well worth a visit. We stayed four nights.

Lascio in stanza, in una busta chiusa e sigillata con 3 scatole di torroni presi a Benevento (a 400km per omaggio per i colleghi in ufficio), che mi sarebbero serviti il giorno successivo. Torno la sera in stanza, appena apro la porta, trovo la busta aperta ed una scatola spacchettata e i torroncini mangiati per metà confezione. Ho fatto presente alla reception dell'accaduto, mostrando le foto, mi rispondono che avrebbero verificato con la responsabile del piano! Poi....il nulla, manco le scuse! non mi frega dei torroncini, alla fine li ho lasciati pure in stanza il giorno dopo (giorno del check-out) cosi li potevano pure finirli! Ma il fatto che, entrando per riassettare ed hanno aperto una busta chiusa e spacchettato le scatole coi dolci, lo stesso si potrebbe fare con le valige e/o borse chiuse che chiunque lascia in stanza quando si pernotta per più giorni. ! DELUSO, DELUSO DELUSO. Lo farò presente anche nella mia azienda per evitare di far pernottare noi dipendenti li. I travel quite a lot and can compare the services in this Arezzo 4 star hotel and others in the country: the plus: - futuristic and pure look and decoration. - a warm welcoming and helpfull staff available all the time. - a lot of Tesla superchargers the minus: - lots of stuff missing in the room to be rated as a four star : no slippers, no coffee or tea set, no vanity set in the bath room ( barely a single soap..), en empty minibar, no paper and pencils to take notes, no handkerchief , old and dirty carpet, a TV with less than 15 channels and only one in french and one in english, The breakfast is minimal and for 35€ you expect much more variety and quality food. And yesterday a diesel power generator ran all night, the people in the next room had a dog ( they accept animals in this hotel??) barking all night long. I attach pictures to illustrate all of this.

The hotel was traditional and beautiful. Cortona is a 30 minute steep walk but so worth it. i would book wine tasting at Il Falcionieri it was truly stunning. Definitely advise hiring a car as taxi's are sp**** and the train station is a 30 minute walk along a busy road. the staff were amazing and even drove us to the bus station at 6:45am in order for us to get to the airport in time. I highly recommend!

리리뷰어Not much to stay that hasn’t already been said about this property. It’s just a great as everyone has raved about. The service, the country side location, the history, the beautifully restored and maintained property all make for marvelous stay and experience. Since this is 5 stay property the one thing I would add is a couple notes to improve: they should be more vigilant about windows and bugs in the rooms, the doors should be updated since they are quite cumbersome to use due to their age and the ability to lock someone inside the room from the outside, and finally the rug in my room was not in best shape in probably needs to be replaced. Would definitely recommend staying here if you have the opportunity.

Our getaway to Il Borro for my husband's birthday was nothing short of magical. From the moment we began planning our trip to the checkout, every detail was a testament to the care and dedication of the Il Borro team. As we entered the prince suite, we were greeted by a panorama that whispered promises of unforgettable moments ahead. After hours drive, at Borro Bar by the pool, we couldn't be happier with the local produce platter awaiting us - a taste of the region's bounty after our journey from Nice, France (thanks Patrick). Our evening meal at the Osteria was a gastronomic journey, with each dish curated to perfection and served with genuine warmth and of course special beautiful dessert on request - Tiramisu! ( thanks to the beautiful attending staff at the restaurant all of who made our night so special)… Breakfast, while not extravagant in terms of variety, was a feast for the senses with its fresh, organic, and high-quality offerings. Maurizio, the restaurant manager and the team added to the experience with his delightful hosting, friendly banter, engaging in pleasant small talk with his natural gift for the discreet hospitality! The cocktail making class with Annelisa was a great experience, a blend of learning and laughter that left us with newfound skills and fond memories. Her expertise and friendly demeanor made the session not only informative but also enjoyable and engaging. From the receptionists who greeted us with warmth (Marco, Christina and Kesenia to name a few, you all made us feel truly welcome) to the porters and buggy drivers whose friendliness and willingness to help us lit up our days… Il Borro's commitment to sustainability was evident in every detail, from the farm-fresh ingredients to the eco-conscious amenities—a reminder that luxury and responsibility can go hand in hand. This was our first visit, but it certainly won't be our last…

리리뷰어The San Luca is obviously a popular hotel in Cortona and for a reason. Built into the hillside, it is right at the start of the town’s main walking street and basically all its rooms offer amazing views, including the lower situated rooms. The rooms are simple but elegant and the bed sheets are really great quality. The breakfast room also has great views as well as a good variety, including many savoury items. The only area where the place could improve is the reception where especially the younger staff lacks some hospitality skills. They should definitely explain the unusual set up of the hotel as the reception is the first level and the one below is the second, then the third. Given that this is Tuscany, the San Luca is not a cheap hotel but for a gym with a view, it might very well be worth the splash.

Io e mia moglie abbiamo trascorso un bellissimo weekend di relax al Toscana verde. La suite dove abbiamo alloggiato era veramente stupenda con tanto di jacuzzi e bel vedere, per non parlare della cucina e della colazione , con prodotti di ottima qualità fatti in casa ed eccellenti e anche il personale è stato molto accogliente e disponibile. Un'esperienza che consiglierei a tutti.
