This hotel just wasn’t for us unfortunately. It’s our first time all inclusive, 2 adults and boy aged 5 and our baby 5 months. We normally go B&B at nice hotels, to enjoy the local restaurants etc. Service wise it was okay no major complaints but wasn’t really great either. The food isn’t good at all here, if you like an English breakfast everyday you’re fine. Anything healthy forget it. The fruit was even tinned! They didn’t have an egg station either so we were quite stuck at breakfast. I assumed they’d have loads of Greek yogurt etc - it was called ‘Strained’ yogurt - I’ve never heard of that before but it tasted horrendous. On food, the pool bar did serve okay snacks and salads, albeit in plastic boxes. The buffet lunch was bland and just not for us. We ate out every night and had breakfasts/lunch out in the end. I’m sure other all inclusive hotels will be better than this as it was really poor standard. I just felt the food area was so small and it was very stressful - that’s why we don’t do all inclusive so maybe we aren’t use to that but even breakfasts at better hotels feel more relaxed, I didn’t like the tacky feel to the buffet at this hotel. The drinks okay all branded. The Sunbed system - they allocate you beds for your entire stay. In theory this could work, but it meant if you got a shady spot, bad luck. It could also be frustrating to see loads of allocated beds unused - so others could have used them. For me that system didn’t work - we’ve been to 5 star hotels and they usually advise if you’re away from beds for say an hour, please remove your belongings otherwise they will be removed. Once this was followed up by pool Attendants soon everyone adhered to this, so no Sunbed hogging. The towels - we didn’t have a towel for a day as they ran out - our first day. Entertainment - can’t comment as we went out for food/drinks every night but upon returning noticed how crammed reception was as this is where entertainment is held. They even put out plastic chairs for extra space, rather tacky. Water park - our eldest loved this and sure most kids would but be careful - they need to tighten the joints of slides as it nipped my back. Rooms were okay - very basic. Local area - again having booked so last minute we didn’t review much about it but it was very English and not authentic - most restaurants weren’t that good bar the sushi place. All in all we did only book this a few days before going as low availability / weather options across Europe. You get what you pay for. It’s definitely not our usual standard of hotel and whilst we had a great holiday - I wouldn’t recommend the hotel if you like nicer things. It felt too stressful with it being so set up for kids. I would say this hotel is more of a 3 star not 4 star.
