It was very difficult to actually make the booking because the prices on the website aren't the same as the actual prices. I requested there be some romantic flower petals or chocolates when the couple arrived (my parent's 20th wedding anniversary) and there was nothing! The bed's underskirt has holes and the bathroom isn't properly cleaned. They didn't receive any amenities like water, however there was a bottle opener but no wine bottle to actually open. They said that they did enjoy the spa and the breakfast, and the service was good. But I'm very disappointed in the room itself!

We would just like to express our extreme disappointment in your guest house. Our booking was on Sat 24th June 2023. We paid for 2 rooms, 1 with a King size bed. The other full room for our 14 year old daughter. Not a cheap excercise. But we were happy to pay as your website made it look amazing. 1. We arrived, not 1 person to help offer carry our luggage. 2. We get to our rooms, we have not been put next to each, which I specifically phoned and asked for, as our daughter is only 14. 3. Our room was not a King size bed, we specifically phoned to make sure of this. It is always a prerequisite when we book anywhere. The worst part is that your manager didn't know that 2 singles beds pushed together is a King size bed. 3. Bedroom wall had damp, pulling off the plaster and paint. 4. An old ladder right outside our door for the duration of our stay. 5. Mould on the inside of the shower window, which is a health hazard. 6. Two guests but only 1 dressing gown. 7. Mould on the shower walls and ceiling. 8. Bottom of bathroom vanity peeling and damp. 9. U can't fill the kettle at the bathroom sink as it can't fit under the tap. 10. No alternative milk at breakfast is oat, almond, soy. We feel that this accommodation which advertises 5 star rating was a complete waste of money. We would like some feedback please. Visit the hotel with my mum for her 80th birthday for 2 nights. First night no hot water, 2nd day/morning of 3rd day No water at all. Had to ask for additional drink water as there was only water provided on the day of arrival. I requested a 10 - 15% refund, which was declined because 'the whole area was without water'. I would expect that, if you market yourself as a 5 star hotel, you would have at least some sort of back up system. 1st night we were the only guests - not much service. 2nd night with more guest and friendly service.

The location of the property is beautiful and peaceful. My husband and I enjoyed our stay. They have a generator which is good during load shedding. The massage was our of this world. I would definitely recommend it.

Thank you for everything from most comfortable accommodation too delicious food serviced conveniently in our room. Superb breakfast too! An Extra mention is Francois offering to collect us (which is not the norm) when we couldn’t find our Uber taxi man and were panicking lost late afternoon in the middle of Hatfield due to us taking the gautrain incorrectly from ORtambo there instead of to the centurion station!

We always stay in room 2 as a standard arrangement, we were told to stay in room 6 Main road about 20 meters from unit a lot of traffic noice Cleaning of room only after 2:00 not good Horrible shower, after shower half of bath room wet. We were quoted rate , at arrival we had to pay more

We had a lovely break away to Mont d'Or Bohemian House. They were very accommodating to our needs and we really enjoyed the treatments. Breakfast was top standard to set up for a good day ahead. See you again soon!

We were received very friendly, the room was well equipped and the bed very comfortable. We enjoined the breakfast the following morning on the stoop, it definitely didn't feel like we were in the City and the wipe was so relaxing.

My hubby and I spent a night over with a massage. Wow, wow, wow. We were truly impressed with the guest house, the very friendly staff. They went out of their way to make us feel wanted, welcome and happy. The massages were absolutely top notch. We loved it and will most definitely be back soon. Thank you!!
