샬레 코트 메르(Chalets Cote Mer)

Time out from busy life I took my son on a surprise holiday for two night in this beautiful place. I was as well amaze with the service , room and food of this establishment. All the staff was friendly especially Bikesh The local receptionist lady. At the restaurant everyone was friendly and helpful. Looking for a quite place to stay this the place for you. By the ocean. At night from the restaurant you can see group of fish swimming along the shore. One advice during your stay there you don't any issue do tell them right away and it would be resolved right away. That how effective the team is under the leader of Mr.Burian. His always around to ensure that we having a nice stay.

This hotel is a gem! Very nice people and service, big and clean rooms. The AC is working very good. The view from the rooms, dining room and pool is one of a kind. Food also very good and fresh, from breakfast to dinner. Would recommend this hotel 10/10 times!

I guess it’s good enough for the price. Praslin Island isn’t cheap and it was better than expected. The rooms were clean, AC was cold at night, but not during the day, and shower was nice and warm. The bed wasn’t very comfortable as it was too soft and the pillows were lumpy. There was also no blanket but just a flat sheet. The staff was accommodating, but dinner service was extremely slow and food was not good. I’m glad it was a complimentary dinner for paying the stay in cash. Otherwise, I would’ve felt bad. They offered my child pizza, but didn’t include it in the complimentary dinner. It was 12 Euros for a pizza that was the worst tasting pizza we had all trip, including Ethiopia. They also charged us for water when they can give free water. I hate that they offered a kids menu when they were going to charge! She could’ve shared our food. It was terrible pizza. Breakfast was also not good. They can’t seem to cook eggs properly. I found it strange that they only gave 3 small bottles of water on day 1 and it was never replenished despite a 4 day stay. I also don’t understand why they couldn’t split the complimentary dinner for 2 into 2 nights, 1 night each since I’m on intermittent fasting. It also annoyed me that our food came much later when we were ahead of the others in the restaurant. It just felt unfair. And they’re not on time. We had to catch an 8am ferry and wanted to check-out the night before but they assured us that the reception opens 7am, but at 7:03am, they were still closed! Overall, I wouldn’t stay here again and maybe there are much better places in Praslin.

We had a nice stay at the Chalets Cote Mer. Our room was very comfortable with an amazing view until La Digue. The breakfast was delicious and the service staff was very friendly. Due to the many stairs the Chalets are not really suitable for disable people.

Me and my wife stayed in Chalets Cote Mer three times and two times in Colibri. The two properties share the reception and the restaurant. They offer different style rooms but both very nice. We were always very satisfied and have never considered another choice for Praslin.

Beautiful location right on the sea. Very cozy and spacious rooms. Stunning view from both the room and the restaurant by the sea. Excellent breakfast and dinner, and also the possibility to have lunch. Lovely infinity pool with a sea view. There is no beach, but there is still access to the sea. Very helpful and friendly staff. A special thanks to manager Bikesh, always available for suggestions and directions on activities and excursions. Highly recommended for those visiting Praslin. If I have the chance, I will gladly return.

Conveniently located ,cozy bungalows on small slope by the seaside,great food selection both for breakfast and dinner. Very professional and helpful staff, well equipped, spacious and clear rooms, many of them with large terrace overlooking the sea.

A divine view from room and from restaurant. Great place to stay, to relax. Delicious food - we had HB. Great value for money. Clean and safe. The service was great! Definetly reccomended for single, pairs and families!
