알 베키오 피오포(Al Vecchio Pioppo)

Our hosts Gaetano and Antonella were phenomenal throughout our stay! They guided us throughout the beautiful beaches, showed us around the city and helped us along every step of the way! They recommended restaurants for us, they helped us for our smooth check in and overall made our stay in Praia a Mare amazing. The rooms were very tidy, clean and immersive. Bathrooms were very clean and common areas were kept clean as well. Breakfast provided by our hosts were typical Italian colazione and fills you up to start your day! If you are to travel to northern Calabria, I would 100% recommend staying here as not only is the place beautiful and close to the sea, but our hosts made it an experience to remember!!! Thank you very much for everything! We will be back! That’s for sure!

This is a really lovely B&B in Praia a Mare. The hosts Gaetano and Antonella are extremely kind and welcoming, and made sure that we had everything we needed. The food, made by Antonella, was delicious! The location is great if you want to be able to walk around town.

We really enjoyed our stay at Al Vecchio Pioppo. Gaetano went out of his way to welcome us and make us feel at home. The room was charming and comfortable, and it was a short walk to the beach. Gaetano suggested a boat ride around the area which we very much enjoyed. We always prefer staying in small charming places as opposed to large impersonal hotels, and this hit the mark. If I were to rettò Praia a Mare, I would definitely choose this welcoming place.

Gaetano & Antonella were amazing hosts. They helped guide us to the best spots in town on scooter and they were always available by phone! The room was vey clean and cozy, it really made us feel we were at a beach town! rooms are air conditioned as well! Colazione in the morning was good and just enough to get your day started! I would recommend anyone to come stay here. The experience and memories you will get by staying here will last you a lifetime as Gaetano and Antonella treat you as family! Thank you for the wonderful experience, we will for sure come again!

Great B&B, gaetano and his family where amazing.Great breakfast,beds where comfortable, walking distance to the beach. Lots of activities to do at night.I would really recommend the B&B to anyone that goes to praia a mare.

The owner is wonderful and very attentive, proud of his business. Although is a Bed & Breakfast, if they offer you to prepare dinner for you (not included in the nightly rate, but you will have to find a restaurant ayways), say YES. They will cook you a wonderful meal with local ingredients.

The breakfast was lovely, Gaetano is a good host and very polite. Nice central location and also less than 5 mn walk to the beach The room was big and with a nice balcony The facilities are great. And near by there is a restaurant not expensive with the best pizzas in Italy. Gracie Mille Gaetano.

Good room with a nice balcony, surrounded by nice restaurant, central and less than 5 min walking to the beach The village is beautiful and a quite place good for rest and just walk around Beach is magnificent and with good restaurants in summer
