Beautiful boutique hotel perched on a hill just outside Potch. Contempory decor, great restaurant and a beautiful spa. Staff were friendly and proffesional, I can highly recommend this property.

The Feather Hill Hotel is a must visit for a quick getaway with an easy 1 and half to 2-hour drive from Johannesburg. When you arrive at the establishment you are immediately struck by the excellent location with exquisite views. At reception you are greeted in a way which confirms that your presence was eagerly awaited. The rooms are spacious, immaculate, and tastefully furnished. You have a choice between a spacious shower or luxurious hot tub and a highlight includes a fireplace for cold winter nights. Upon arrival we were welcomed with drinks and a snack platter that we enjoyed while finishing off our last meeting of the day using their WIFI that gave us no problems. For dinner we visited the Hotel's own restaurant Vista’s, and we were blown away with a great dining experience. We had a comfortable rest and enjoyed a great breakfast the next morning. We rounded off our stay with some spa trea**ents ensuring that we left this establishment feeling well rested, sad to leave, but consoled by the fact that we would visit again.

Highly professional service. Value for money. Well prepared Staff with high quality reception standard. All available services at the Hotel were clearly explained. Extremely quite place to be. World class.

The quality and service provided by Featherhill is ‘uncomprompomised’ and one of the best I have experience in the Potch/Klerksdorp area. Definitely in my top 3 places to visit and stay at. My wife, then girlfriend and I had our first date there at the Spa but we have found one of our go-to places moving forward.

Absolutely phenomenal experience! The hotel and it's grounds are beautiful. The Chapel and wedding venue are a throwback to the medieval era with immaculately kept lawns. The hotel is tastefully decorated to give it a modern yet rustic finish. The room was spacious and practical, also beautifully decorated, the fireplace was a wonderful touch for the cold nights. The staff are amazing, they catered to our every request efficiently and were always friendly. They truly went above and beyond. They set up a picnic for us in the shade of the chapel and wedding venue, we had a nice view of the Potch lake, the charcuterie board was amazing. The hotel boasts an amazing spa, we skipped out on trea**ents opting for a day visit to another local spa but did make use of the Spa's Hyrdo facilities. Again the hotel staff went above and beyond as the spa was closed for the day but they opened up for us to make use of the steam room, heated pool and sauna facilities. All in all a wonderful place to visit. We will definitely be returning for more staycations.

The phone in our room was not working, requested an iron on arrival from Noma , she insisted that it was in the drawers even though I had told her it was not. Had to call in the morning only then was it brought to our room after several calls, with no apology whatsoever. It was my partner’s birthday He was supposed to have a Marshmallow board like last year but none was allocated even though I had requested one to his day extra special. I’m extremely disappointed especially with the receptionist.

Excellent and very nice place to stay at. The service was quick and friendly. Great view...i liked the quiet and peace. The swimming pool was awsume in night time. Food was fantastic and the spa is just amazing.

We had the most delightful stay at Feather Hill. Everything from the very start to the end was perfect. The staff, namely Norma, Luthando and Lukhanyo made anything administrative seamless, interaction friendly and went above and beyond for any requests that we had. We'd also like to acknowledge the chef who was on duty the evening of the 18th of Feb and the morning of the 19th of Feb, the food was scrumptious! Flavours were complex yet in harmonious balance and meat cooked perfectly to request. We have stayed at many places around the country and internationally and we can proudly say that Feather Hill in little ol'Potch can compete effortlessly on the international stage. Details make or break a place and the staff named above coupled with the decor, food and quality of amenities/fabric of the bedding/art on the walls, certainly make this place the absolute gem that it is.
