호텔 일 가비아노(Hotel Il Gabbiano)

Great location & friendly, helpful service. All were very welcoming. The breakfast was an awesome added touch - served to your room/balcony each morning. Loved our stay! Would definitely stay there again.

Hotel gradevole, vista bellissima, ottimo servizio sia per la pulizia che per la ristorazione. Personale molto disponibile ed educato. Animazione top, ragazzi simpatici e coinvolgenti, pronti a farti divertire e a farti trascorrere delle giornate spensierate. Vacanza da ripetere...

The hotel was excellent. Room was comfortable, the balcony and view was amazing, and the staff were very kind and helpful. We had breakfast each morning and it was delivered to the room so we enjoyed breakfast on our private balcony. I would highly recommend this place and I'd stay here again.

This was our first visit to Positano and it was absolutely magical. Hotel Il Gabbiano is a family hotel and has been for the last half a century or so , grandfather watering the flowers in the garden and his daughter and her daughters treat all guests with warmth and hospitality. Our room was perfect with a wonderful terrasse with astonishing view over the city and the ocean. Positano is something else, yes there are a lot of steps to cover, but we knew that, so we came back home in great shape :) We fully recommend Hotel Il Gabbiano and will for sure stay there again, it's the perfect place in Positano. L’hotel carino, a 15 minuti a piedi dalla spiaggia, non ha la cucina e offre solo qualche snack o drink. La colazione buona ma un po’ scarsa. Purtroppo sono rimasta un po’ delusa dalla camera perche le foto dell’agenzia dove avevamo prenotato erano totalmente diverse, avevamo una vista sul mare ma non bellissima avendo il muro sulla destra. Il personale peró era molto gentile e disponibile

Si salva solo la vista , hote vecchio , mai rimodernato , mobilio spartano e molto datato, sembra una pensioncina a conduzione familiare ma il prezzo pagato è da boutique hotel , colazione, solo in camera ,molto basica e spartana, noi siamo andati in un bar , il personale però è molto disponibilie e simpatico .

Unbelievable, we will definitely return to the same hotel. Lovely staff seems to be family run, very well kept and has the magic of Italy. The view from our balcony was amazing, and they brought out breakfast straight to our balcony each morning (very good selection to choose from). Location was great, about 15/20 minute walk to the beach. Also very clean, cannot wait to go back already.

This was a mixed bag of wonderful and not so wonderful. A friend had stayed here and loved it. They didn't get the room we had. We were put in an apartment, floor -4. We had a living room, kitchen and table with a separate bedroom. The patio was wonderful with a fabulous lemon tree over part of it. We ate breakfast outside under it when it wasn't raining. It was brought to us. There was a beautiful view and a sitting area with a better view outside our gate to sit in too. BUT the noise from the private apartment next door ( I'm thinking it was a maintenance employee) was almost too much to take. Snoring, arguing, child, dog yipping was very annoying. We payed a lot of money for this hotel. Before you go check to see if they have booked you in room 24. The staff was wonderful. Nice little common area for drinks and bites.

Great location! I spent a lot of time researching where to stay while in Rome. Having been a student here many years ago, I knew the location I wanted to be in for convenience and accessibility and this hotel met that criteria. It's an easy walk to everything you would want to do and see in Rome and the convenience of restaurants around the hotel was an added bonus. We were on the 5th floor with a terrace. I know other reviews sited the noise level but I didn't find it that noisy. Heck folks, you are in a city, you are going to have street noise. The only negative review would be that the storm windows/door did not go up all the way so we didn't have a good view out the window and we had to duck under to exit to the terrace.
