Un hotel precioso. Las habitaciones están decoradas con un gusto exquisito , amplias y muy cómodas Disponen de todo lo necesario con una mini cocina muy agradable y con cafetera ( para mi un súper plus) Está a 5/10 min de todo en una calle muy tranquila que permite el descanso Solo le pondría un pero, solo ofrecen desayuno vegano. Esto no estaba indicado en booking cuando lo contraté , supuso un problema para algún miembro familiar , además 20€ nos pareció caro

The hotel is clean, trendy, comfortable, and very well-located. Some rooms are better than others. This was my third stay at the hotel. Despite the numerous hotels available in Porto, I chose to stay here again because of the great suite I had during my first and second visits. I booked this stay five months in advance, requesting the same room as my first time. To my surprise, the room wasn't the same and wasn't as good. What was great during my first stay has become average. The room was clean but not as comfortable, spacious, or well-decorated as my previous one. When I inquired at the front desk, they explained that the requested room wasn't available. It's hard to believe that someone requested the same room more than 5 months ago. This lack of attention to customer loyalty is disappointing. I visit Porto frequently and may return, but I will likely explore other equally good hotels in the area. Also, their (only option) vegan breakfast is not good, with very slow service and subpar food. As a carnivore, I believe they missed an opportunity to demonstrate how delicious vegan food can be. If they are going to offer such a food restriction to their customers, they should do it well, which unfortunately they did not. It was memorable, but not in a good way.

Excellent location and amenities in the room. We stayed in a 2 Bedroom/2 bath, 2 couples was perfect. Bedrooms are separated by the shared kitchen/living room space. Apar**ent is very new and modern, nice furniture and comfortable beds. Also has an elevator and front desk from 10am-8pm. They used digital access so no worry about keys which is very handy. I'd recommend this apar**ent especially if you're looking for space, comfort, cleanliness and services similar to a hotel. Many places to eat nearby walking distance, as well as grocery store and transit too. Would definitely stay here again.

Très bel appartement. Propreté irréprochable. Décoré avec beaucoup de goût. Un accueil parfait , de bons conseils pour visiter la ville . Emplacement au top . Merci pour le porto et le petit chocolat à notre arrivée , le petit plus qui fait la différence.

bel etablissement -pas grande critique à faire- l'immeuble est beau et propre- l'accueil dans un anglais parfait est bien fait- mais passer le 31 là comme je l'ai prévu s'est révelé un peu glauque tellement c'est froid - pas un tableau. manque des choses essentielles qui obligent à faire de courses que l'on laisse:sel , poivre, beurre et pourtant il existe des doses individuelles dans les hotels, pouruoi pas ici? pas de grille pain et le strict minimum en vaisselle et couverts parties salon et diner tres tres petites mais petit dejeuner tres bien - dommage qu'il ne soit que vegan, pas de lait de vache, cette facon d'imposer un mode de consommation m'agace et me parait sectaire. mais garcon tres sympa et disponible à 9 h le 1er janvier pas mal situé et porto monte beaucoup et on est haut là

There were so many positive aspects of our stay at Laranjais that I hesitate to award it only 4 "stars," but, as explained below, there were a few aspects of the hotel that detracted from a "5 star experience." On the positive side, our 1 bedroom suite was spacious and comfortable. You can see a picture of it at the top of this page. It had very stylish decor, with a firm bed, good linens, and lovely toiletries. The location was excelleng in terms of proximity to restaurants and attractions -- lots of hills to ascend and descend but that's Porto. Also, a very courteous and helpful staff. So, why was I not wholly satisfied? First and foremost because the design choices for our room were more driven by appearance than functionality. In particular: 1) Most of the "wall" dividing the living room area from the bedroom consisted of glass, which meant that light would inevitably shine into the bedroom if one person was in the living room & the other trying to sleep in the bedroom. 2) Worse yet, the sink portion of the "bathroom" was separated from the bed room by only a partial wall, so any light fixture on in that room also shone in the bedroom. And there was a single light switch that controlled for both light fixtures in that sink area and for the separate, toilet/ shower room. So, if one person arose during the night to use the toilet, when they switched on the light (which was essential as it was otherwise pitch-black in the toilet room), the light in the sink area also went on, shining light into the bedroom as well. Aside from these design issues that detracted from the functionality of the bedroom, it was annoying that there were no facial tissues stocked in the room (but there were yoga mats). I had a head cold & ended up just buying some tissues but I would expect a hotel of this caliber to include them in the room. (This was the only hotel of the 5 where we stayed in Portugal without head colds.) I do not mean to sound so harsh. The hotel is largely lovely and it may be that other rooms/ suites are designed in a better manner.

Design of the whole property is beautiful. We like the little kitchen area for coffee and tea. It was bad that we couldn’t enjoy the cute terrace because of the rain.

Laranjais is a small hotel in a newly renovated (very old) building. It is very well located on a quiet street (not far from areas that are much noisier and congested), and was within a short walk of a large number of restaurants and cafes. The hallways and rooms are quite charming, as they have original stone walls with new floors and very modern finishes. The staff was great. Our small suite (the staff call them apar**ents) was reasonably sized and comfortable, but had some strange design issues. Most importantly, there was no light switch in the bathroom; if you got up at night to use the bathroom, the only way to turn the light on was with a switch that also turned on multiple very bright ceiling lights in the sink area outside of the bathroom -- this would wake up anyone sleeping in the adjacent bedroom (which is connected to the sink room by a large arch). Overall, however, Laranjais was clean and comfortable, and the staff were extremely helpful.

This room was super well located, comfy and spacious. The guests are definitely there for our needs and eager to help. I stayed there with my 22 years old daughter and were happy after a weekend walking and eating out in Porto to relax and stay in and order in. Great hotel !
