The Bach is a well maintained, centrally located, well equipped, compact yet spacious two bedroom cottage. It is located two streets from the Port MacDonnell foreshore in a position with minimal vehicular traffic, yet easy pedestrian access to the whole of Port MacDonnell.The Bach is fully fenced, with ample parking for your car and boat. The property is nicely sheltered and wonderfully quiet, even though it is close to everything. A small walk away is the beach, play area, and the boats of the largest rock-lobster fleet in South Australia. Port MacDonnell’s foreshore has been recently upgraded to beautify the area and make easy, public access to the beach, jetty and the dinosaur trail. Port MacDonnell is situated in the southern end of the Limestone Coast which is centralised around the Mount Gambier region which has many and varied attractions and facilities. The whole region is rich in history, industry, recreational activities and sight-seeing. If heading to Adelaide, will it be dinosaur bones and Coonawarra wine, or the Big Lobster and the Coorong National Park. Or on your way to Victoria? Will it be Nelson National Park, as it is just along the road from Port MacDonnell, the Glenelg River and the Princess Margaret Rose caves, Portland and the “Great Ocean Road” starts 200km away, in Warrnambool. The home has a glamorous bathroom and a functional laundry with a washer and dryer. An open living area includes a kitchen, lounge, and dining and adjoins an eightball room. The lounge room features a large flat screen TV and DVD with a selection of dvd's and books. The home also has a lovely secluded pergola with an outdoor setting and BBQ. This beautiful downstairs home is in walking distance to the General Store, Victoria Hotel, Chemist, Salt Bar and cafe, Tide Cafe, Bay Pizzeria, two fish shops, and the Community Complex and Library. You can walk to the jetty for a spot of fishing or walk across the road for a stroll or swim at the beach. This home has no secure yard, so families must be aware of this. The home is also a smoke-free zone, and we do not allow pets. This home offers everything you want for a group of friends or romantic getaway. Enjoy the close proximity to the beach and walking path. Relax and watch the beautiful sunrises and sunsets. The view is just as amazing in the winter months as in the summer.We live in the upstairs home, which is totally private, and respect our guests' privavy.Please park on the street or on the right hand side of the driveway.
