Easy check-in and check-out. BEST breakfast of any place I stay. CLEAN and safe. I will stay there when in Port Lavaca!!

Excellent. Incredibly sweet and accommodating staff and owner. Rooms not fancy but very presentable, clean, smelled great, new bedspreads, could use new towels. Owner provided free dinner at hotel and offered food and drinks all day, over and beyond your usual just breakfast. We stayed extra nice gets because of their excellent hospitality.

Very clean and comfortable! As long as they fix their WiFi issues, it will be a great property. I also enjoyed the free treats available to all guests at the front desk 24/7. P.s. very outdated in general.

It was a comfortable space to spend the night. The room was cozy and the beds were really nice.

I feel like we got more than what we paid for. The room was not fancy, but comfortable and clean. There were all kinds of snacks available in the office at no charge. Will definitely stay here again.

The mexican restaurant was best food in town. Ate breakfast there. Was going back on Sunday but closed. Need coffee pot in room had microwave and frig. Even bistro table and chairs. Room smelled clean comfortable bed

Great location on highway with excellent authentic Mexican restaurant attached to motel.

Shortened our stay Pros: Courteous staff, nice array of breakfast & snack items in lobby, in room fridge & microwave, 2 free bottled waters, clean overall, accommodated my request to shorten stay easily at 5a Cons: The towels were thin and on the small side. There were only 2 sets of towels although I indicated 4 travelers. When we requested more for our hair & bodies for the rest of our stay, they said we can get more at the front desk (rather than bringing to room) and only had 2 more. Also they stated that they do not provide towels for the pool and apologized for the inconvenience. The bathtubs had no stoppers, which is ok if your prefer showers, but my youngest child prefers baths. In the middle of the night, the toilet stopped flushing. Old fashioned touch tone phone, very low volume so hard to communicate. Although the floors (perhaps laminate hardwood) look nice, the sand from the beach remained on them and was uncomfortable to step on and got into our sheets. The double deluxe room was advertised as queens, but seemed more like full size.I usually sleep pretty soundly at hotels but the bed was firm and uncomfortable to me. I awoke around 3a and started thinking about checking out early. Although the ac initially kept the room cool, I woke up hot. My husband and kids slept soundly though.

The hidden jewel on Port LaVaca, the more important part for me is the service Miss Jennifer on the front desk very profesional and friendly, Iris the cleaning Lady, the maintenance Guy, everybody on the hotel are helpfully and servicial, 0 issues whit the cleaning part, the room is very clean, smell clean and look like is recently renovated, on the front desk you find a big variety the snacks,fruit, hot soups after breakfast, and breakfast sandwiches on the breakfast time, water, soft drinks, coffe and milk; and the price for the room very affordable, I would stay there again if I needed.
