Zafiro Palace Alcudia

There were a few concerns within the first 2 days and then we received a survey to assess our satisfaction. We were contacted by the Guest Relations Rep, Daniele, and discussed our issues. Within 24 hours, our experience turned into a 5 star experience from service in all areas of the resort: restaurant, spa, animation and reception desk. We really enjoyed our stay as a couple. We stayed between 13- 20 April after Easter break. There were families with little children but overall the resort was very chill and not crowded. We got lucky with a great room with no issues and the location facing the mountains/pool was ideal. Want to give praise to all the Zafiro employees who take pride in their jobs and obviously enjoy working there.

This was our second stay at this hotel and if we return to Alcudia we surely will book this hotel again. The hotel facilities, staff and food are all excellent. Staff is very friendly and makes you feel like a royal :) We were cycling for two weeks in Mallorca. You can store your bike at the hotel and it is also a good starting point for many routes. Being rather close to Tramuntana is a big bonus. We had All inclusive although we were cycling all day long and missed the lunch many times. However, having AI is really nice and you have so many dining options at the hotel. The only minor downside is that it is a family hotel and there are many screaming kids around and the bigger restaurants become a bit noisy. Our kids are grown ups so we would value some quieter places for couples who travel without small kids…

On the whole this is a lovely hotel but it has its good and bad points. Firstly the good! All the staff were super friendly but on occasion, some of the waiting staff particularly the restaurant at the pool were not unfortunately. Apologies for not getting names but the blonde haired girl at Coffee Corner was lovely and an ace at making a treleche!! The lovely dark haired bartender at the main bar was great and you can see he takes pride in his bar as it was always spotless! Also to mention, Danielle the customer service manager who noticed it was my birthday and was always asking if everything was ok. The rooms were fabulous, spacious and very clean, towels replenished daily and sheets changed during the stay. Food on the whole was pretty good although some days were better than others and I’d wholly recommend booking the a la carte restaurants during your stay, we tried the Sushi, the Italian and The grill restaurants and the were fantastic! The hotel surroundings were well maintained and gardens were amazing. The odd area was a little tired but nothing to speak of. The bad points….thankfully very few! Some of the buffet food was a little below par and meats were a bit tough and sometimes the labelling got a bit mixed up! On the whole there were always salads, pizza, breads etc. A lot of people let their kids loose on the buffet and obviously they are quite aware of food hygiene shall we say! Rooms could be a little noisy at night due to the entertainment but not a massive issue. Most definitely a family hotel, however the hotel is advertised as this so if you are travelling as a couple then just be mindful. I have to concur with other people and the usual sunbed wars do take place but this didn’t affect us. These are all just minor details though. On the whole I’d recommend the hotel, mostly to families. It is very well appointed, close to shops, bars and restaurants.

We had a lovely holiday and great stay in Zafiro Palace - everything was well maintained and clean. The various pools were great but the swim up bar was not opened. We also enjoyed the breakfast and the staff were all very friendly. The only thing that we thought was a bit strange was that we were charged 1 euro for each coffee capsule that we used! I wouldn’t have expected this from a five star hotel especially as they had supplied the coffee machine!

This hotel is nothing short of incredible. The rooms, facilities, food and service were exceptional! My son had a freak accident during our stay (nothing to do with the hotel) and the way the staff assisted us was amazing. They called for medical assistance immediately and kept us all calm. Danielle went above and beyond to help us out. Although we had to stay in our room for a couple of days due to my Son’s injury, Danielle and the staff made such a wonderful gesture and had a gift, sweets and handwritten note delivered to our room and made him feel so special during the rest of our stay. Danielle, your kindness, thoughtfulness and empathy were so much appreciated and we will never forget what a wonderful experience you made it for us all. We will definitely be back soon. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough!

I cannot fault Zafiro Palace Alcudia. From an easy booking process, to staying there, to dining there, Zafiro Palace Alcudia exceeded all our expectations. A special mention to the staff that made our stay perfect, Enrique, Mickey and Luz, thank you for taking care of us in the restaurants and always going above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. You all were so kind and helpful. They are all an asset to Zafiro. I am lactose intolerant and Zafiro made sure that I was catered for and not left out providing me with multiple options. Sara (head chef) made sure that I had something special made for me when I wanted, it meant so much, she was so lovely and showed me around what I could have from the extensive buffet everyday. Thank you Sara. You are an amazing chef! Our bedroom at Zafiro had a pool view and it was perfect. It was clean, spacious, luxurious and contained everything that you need for a stay away from home. There was plenty for our little one to do too at the hotel. She had the best holiday and still talks about it. Thank you Zafiro for a wonderful holiday, we hope to return to you soon.

We stayed here for the first time for 5 nights during Easter school holidays. We loved our holiday. Weather was perfect every day, not too hot. We maybe got lucky there. We went for all inclusive and loved not worrying about food for our rather picky children. Food was really nice, especially the la carte restaurants. Drinks were great too, a lot of choice all round. Everything was so relaxed and the staff were all so friendly. I think the staff made the holiday extra special here honestly. So helpful, friendly and seemed happy to be working there. Another highlight was seeing the flamenco dancers performing one evening. Otherwise the kids enjoyed the kaboot quizzes every night. This time of the year seemed ideal too as it was not too busy yet most things were open. Also not being too hot I was worried about mosquitoes as I always get bitten but not once this holiday. We would really love to return to this hotel or another Zafiro hotel in future. Hopefully the staff know how great they are! Not everything was perfect like the room floorboards were a bit loose, some outdoor pools were very cold and the indoor pool was small. Alcúdia beach itself is lovely but there were works going on which made some parts a bit of an eyesore. So we actually preferred to stay at the hotel pool areas! Alcúdia old town is also lovely. Half day visit was enough for us. The fact is we basically had a perfect holiday experience which was mostly down to the experience provided by the staff at this hotel.

Great five star hotel. Had to move rooms due to the noise from the pool filter system but this was handled efficiently. Food was excellent. Breakfast was the best range I’ve seen and so fresh. The lunch menus at the pool was also very good. I suspect all inclusive is very good value. We opted for B&B as we like to explore a bit but with young kids I can image this place is ideal as there is a play park just off the food terrace! Can also imagine it’s very busy in high season but it was perfect in Easter. Kids loved the pools and the cabanas were lovely. Staff were all very helpful and beds very comfortable even the cold away! Would come back.

Beautiful hotel, great location and fantastic service! The rooms are spacious and very modern. The room with jacuzzi terrace is outstanding and worth the upgrade! One thing to note that outside of the season, there’s no entertainment in the hotel, not even in the evening which makes it a very peaceful place. The breakfast is one of the best I’ve ever experienced.
