리버뷰 캐러밴 파크(Riverview Caravan Park)

Stayed 3 nights. Reason for visit to ride the rail trails. This park proved to be a good choice for my needs. Easy access to Porepunkah, Mt. Buffalo and had good facilities. Quiet at night. Andrea the host was very courteous and efficient. The cabin air-conditioner was very good.

Enjoyed a wonderful 4 nights camping (would've loved it to be longer) at Riverview Caravan Park in Porepunkah. Fabulous place to enjoy the serenity of NE Vic. Lovely shady peaceful spot to escape the heat & I highly recommend a dip in the river to cool off from the summer heat. Clean & well serviced amenities & camp kitchen. Very friendly welcoming staff. Can't wait to return with my family for our next break to this family owned caravan park.

Chose this park due to reviews, ive lost my trust in Tripadvisor now. We got an ensuite cabin for 3 nights. The bed was rock hard, we had to use the bunks , our backs couldn't have done another 2 nights. No frying pan , chopping board and the hair dryer didn't work. Couch has had lot better days. One plus was the shower was good. Being Feb this park is basically a bush setting so it was very brown and dry. The hosts were very nice, which helped. We expect more though.

My family and I recently stayed here over Easter. We found the new managers to be really friendly and happy to help out with anything. The grounds have had some great updates there’s now a pool. It was a great surprise for the kids to see Easter Bunny on Easter morning as well. Thanks we will be back.

Our second visit to Riverview Caravan Park was equally as good as our first. The park’s friendly owners are very accommodating. As we had four families (three camping, one in a cabin) in our group, our camp spaces were adjoining and generous. The kids loved the playground and trampolines. Proximity to the river was great and provided the best playground of all.

Fantastic hosts at this park, Glenn was very helpful with finding the right site for me and helping with parking the camper. Lovely location, fell asleep listening to water bubbling down the river and woke up to all the beautiful birds. Felt welcomed and cared about, stayed 6 nights but wished I could have stayed longer. Will be back.

Clean amenities with paper towel; shower cubicle has bench to place toiletries, hooks for clothes and large shower recess to position soap etc. Large level powered sites. It is a family paradise due to a large fenced in playground for the kids that also included a tennis court and three ground-level trampolines. The park butts up against the river that is accessible for residents to use. The river appeared to be shallow enough for most to stand up even in the centre of the river. Has camp kitchen with fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle, some saucepans and utensils, and BBQ. For the price of $55/night for a powered site, it would have been nice to have more than two toilets in the ladies amenities. Although there was another amenities located elsewhere in the park, there was often queuing at the Ladies. Also you had to run the hot water for quite a while before getting hot water in the shower. I would have given it a 5-star rating if the price wasn’t so high.

I very rarely leave 5-star reviews, but I would honestly give Riverview Caravan Park even more stars if I could. I had just finished a 4-hour drive to Bright from Melbourne and was ready to get some sleep before a Spartan Race I was participating in the next morning, only to find out that the accommodation I arranged through *********** wasn't in the system. Apparently, Riverview wasn't even meant to be listed on *********** as they had been consistently double-booking guests. Naturally, I began to panic a bit, as I was sure that if I could even find alternative accommodation, it wouldn't come cheap on such short notice and with the town full of Spartan punters. What can I say? Glen and Andrea, the owners of Riverview, were just absolutely wonderful. Understanding, helpful, and friendly, they explained the situation with *********** and not only arranged a different cabin, but assured me that they would liaise with *********** on my behalf and get me my money back. The room itself was clean, tidy, and had every amenity I needed, including a wonderful view of the river. Couldn't recommend Riverview more if you're planning a trip to Bright. They have a customer for life in me now.
