RNLI 칼리지(RNLI College)

The hotel was immaculately clean and our room overlooked the sea. Well stocked RNLI shop and lovely seating areas. Sadly such a positive review cannot be left for Riggers restaurant. Our starters were fine and arrived after some confusion as to whether the restaurant had any prawns. The 4 main course arrived. ,3 of which were satisfactory. The burger was so burnt it was inedible as was the bun , ham & cheese.I was offered a replacement but everyone else had finished eating so I declined , there was little in the way of apology. We were brought dessert menus but after 20 minutes no one had come back to take our order so I went to where the staff were all chatting. Shortly afterwards the desserts arrived and the custard was cold. Again I had to go to find someone. The manager did apologise and the bill was amended according. The service was terrible no one seemed to know what they were doing. Such a shame that we feel this has let the hotel down. This will not deter us from staying at the hotel we will eat off site in future.

What a great hotel comfortable bed large room spotless with sofa really nice soaps supplied in the bathroom. The hotel breakfast was superb and all the staff in the entire hotel were excellent.I can't rate this place highly enough. Views from the entire hotel were excellent. The only thing was the bar was shut for refurbishment but this spoil our visit

Great hotel to stay with all rooms having lovely harbour views. Everything about this hotel is positive. Would highly recommend. The rooms are very good and spacious. A good supply of tea/coffee and biscuits in the room. All the staff are very efficient and customer focused. At breakfast there was certainly lots of choice. The bar overlooking the harbour is also great.

Superb location, great facilities and excellent service,a real find. Good value too! The additional interest from the RNLI college and facilities is brilliant and everything is super efficient in terms of guest experience. Delicious food.

Took my wife and in laws to The College and had a great experience. Our tour guide was knowledgeable,professional and funny. The tour was comprehensive and finished well in the simulator. As an RNLI donor I was proud of the work that my donation supports. These are very brave people. The tour was finished well by a lovely lunch in the College

Stayed here as recommended by son-in-law who had trained here. Facilities well exceed expectations: modern, great decor, unusual building, great views, good food and great breakfast. Had a facility tour included. Prices moderate, and benefit the RNLI anyway. Staff polite and committed to the charitable goal.

We visited the RNLI College for the Launch A Memory event on the weekend of April 13-14 and got to see my dad's name on Eric's Legend 13-40. Everything ran so smoothly and it was a beautiful afternoon filled with great memories. Accommodation was full so we stayed next door. We came over to the College several times for the event and also to enjoy the restaurant. The staff from the front desk to the gift shop were awesome! Friendly smiles and going the extra mile is the epitome of the 5-star service they provide at every point! The best kept secret is the upstairs bar / cafe where we enjoyed drinks after the event and watched the sunset over the water getting great glimpses of the opening twin sail bridge. Advice: Go for the amazing Sunday roast buffet but do call ahead to make reservations. We look forward to staying here on a future visit to Poole as there simply isn't a nicer hotel to stay - or to eat and drink.

We attended the RNLI commemorative event, “Launch a Memory” where we had the opportunity to see my late mother’s name alongside others, incorporated into the decal of “Eric’s Legend”. Fantastically organised from start to finish with designated time slots and friendly and informative staff. A very moving experience for us as a family and the building, the all day breakfast, and the fantastic sculptor portraying a rescue at sea all contributed to our lovely day. Worth a visit on any day and a charity so worthy of our support.

I cannot praise the College enough The staff are friendly and helpful The restaurant was amazing and the chef went the extra mile and the care that he took with my special diet was exceptional 100 out of 10 is not enough The food for my husband had was awesome too we will be returning in May and can't wait
