Royal Hotel and Suites

Arrived at the hotel in the evening , we had issues with our room broken shower cracked shower screen , gaffer tap on the fridge and the kettle leaked everywhere . And there was 2 sets of stairs my partner has a broken foot . I mentioned to the staff about this and they moved us to a ground floor room . They gave us a Sandwich as the restaurant was closed . Food in there restaurant was unpleasant to say the least I can understand being in Greece they will serve Greek food . Quite happy tp try new dishes . Well all I can say is very unpleasant barely any choice of food there was always spaghetti bolognase repative mornings afternoon and evenings . Mentioned about the food quality and lack of choice. Very unprofessional response from manager staff started making comments , horrible atmosphere . Receptionist moaned at us never experienced this before I'm a frequent traveller and never had this happen ever . Family run business got fed up with it in the end . Really bad atmosphere bar man was also rude . Manager told us we was committing fraud god knows how . We was waiting from secret escapes to get in contact with us that they had found us another hotel which they said there was no rooms anywhere else We found a hotel in the end the manager has refused to refund us deleted our booking . There's to much to put in this review how awful this was . The beach is 15 mins away yes they have a mini bus but after them treating us in a unprofessional manner and then making comments to my sister in laws and brother in law when we left was a disgrace . They said they where still putting out the sane dishes everyone was moaning about the food . Do not recommend this hotel

I will start by saying the rooms were very good and kepted very clean by the Very nice cleaners. Clean sheets every other day. The beds around the pool were so uncomfortabl with no pads. All inclusive 10am to 10pm after that drinks 9eros a pop. The food very poor the same every day. There was however a very good Chef who cooked a choice like pasta and meat dishes...steak was so tough The private beach was much more enviting with so comfortable beds. The restaurant was good but you have to pay for this. Beware. This hotel in our opinion is not a four star.

Wonderful family run hotel in a great location. All the staff were fantastic (special mention to Kostas and Joanna in reception and Paul in the pool bar and all the waiters in the restaurant). Everywhere was spotless, the food in the restaurant was great. It's only a 2 minute walk to the main high street and the connection it has to the Olivia beach bar is a real bonus. Can't recommend this place highly enough and we can't wait to go back again next year.

This hotel is spotlessly clean, and rooms are modern- lovely pool- unheated and very cold in October. Nice restaurant setting, but they are letdown - food selection on all inclusive option is poor- great breakfast, with freshly made omelettes and pancakes, but lunch and dinner saw the same old things time and time again- no desserts to speak of unless you like Jelly or tarts that got churned out lunch and dinner every day with a slightly different topping! We only saw Mousakka once on the last night, and there seemed more Italian options (spaghetti bolognaise)at every meal. A little more imagination next season would be good as this is an otherwise lovely hotel. Lastly there are no signs from the road- hotel down a tiny lane and difficult to find. Good weather , but much is shut down noon in town/ beach area for end of season.

We spent a beautiful month in the northern Greek islands and wrapped up our trip with a week at Royal Suites. The hotel is a hidden gem on cobblestone road off the main road of Polychronou. The staff at the hotel were very pleasant and did everything possible to make our stay enjoyable. We had a little difficulty finding the cobblestone road to the hotel and called them for directions. When we did not arrive a few minutes after the call, Joanna , from the front desk, called our cell phone to make sure we were fine and helped guide us to the hotel. She made an incredible first impression of the Royal Suites. All the staff were as helpful as Joanna. Our room was lovely and spacious. The bathroom was spacious as well, with a very nice shower. The room was very clean with towels and sheets changed daily. We did the bed and breakfast option and found the breakfast buffet had a nice variety of options. The only suggestion we have with the breakfast buffet is to have all fresh fruit rather than some fresh fruit and many canned fruits. We went to the hotels beach club daily. The sun beds had thick, comfortable cushions and umbrella’s. The food that was part of the beach club package was very good and enough to feed a family. The location of the hotel is perfect and were glad that we did not have a waterfront hotel. The waterfront is all beach clubs, restaurants and a bit noisy. The walk to town from the hotel to the main part of town, was a few minutes. The town has several great restaurants that we found on Trip Advisor. We enjoyed our stroll into town each evening and looked forward to the great restaurants, many on the waterfront. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend Royal Suites.

A gem hidden in the side-road of Polyhrono village. This hotel has made good progress along the years that I have been visiting and every year it has something different/new to offer. An absolute pleasure to be there, either early in the season or in high season. 🫶🏼

We stayed here as a group of 5 for 11 days, middle/end of Sept. The hotel was spotless, very clean, new towels every day. The pool hours are 08:30-20:00, so we was up every day around 08:30 to be able to get sun beds together (although, we didn’t find the sun beds very comfortable) and if you left it much later you probably wouldn’t be able to get a sunbed. The man took my suitcase to the room when I arrived and the room had free shampoo/ wash soaps, free safe box & a Nescafé dolce gusto machine (you need pods for them). The beds were two singles pushed together. Looking at the photos we did believe the pool was actually bigger than it was.. but it was fine (wasn’t heated). There’s also chess, table tennis & 6/7 basic holes to play crazy mini golf but would be fun if there were more to do. The beach is very nice, sand & pebbles, and only a 5-10min walk away with a ***** of shops before you get to the beach (the hotel also offers a free shuttle there). They also do 15% off food/drink if you go to Olivio beach bar and their sun beds were really comfortable! - we had a lovely pizza from there. We also used Blue Secret to hire a boat for the day which was brilliant - but be aware..you have to pay for whatever petrol you use on top. The hotel staff were really helpful & informative, especially the lady behind reception - Joanna. The hotel also can call a taxi for you to wherever you’d like to go and we ended up using that taxi service a few times and they were always nice. I would suggest hiring a car if you want to go out and do/ see things. There was no evening entertainment at all, so for some people that would be ideal, the bar shuts at 10pm. (Website says quiz nights but over the 11 days we were here, there wasn’t). Ice cream was served 12pm-5pm, you’d have to pay before or after. Also, if you wanted crisps/ snacks you’d have to pay - the only snacks on offer in the all inclusive deal is luke warm hamburgers or a hotdog between that time. Food times: 0730-1000 breakfast, 14:00-1530 lunch, 1830-2100 dinner. The man serving behind the pool bar seems to be quite strict about 1 person, 1 drink.. so we all had to get our own each time and the drinks seemed to be watered down a lot - some we were unable to drink. We didn’t watch the TV much but seems to be very basic / only English Channel was the news every day (not an option to use subtitles either) Very limited seating space of an evening, not very comfortable chairs. Personally I wouldn’t bring children here. The only ‘negative’ we had, which for us was a big/main one - the food was quite repetitive/ wasn’t much variety and ALWAYS cold, it lacked potential. Quite a lot of food from lunch was for dinner as well. So we did eat out a few times, as it was not enjoyable. However, the breakfasts were better as there was a lot more to offer & the man is happy to cook fresh omelettes/ eggs / pancakes for you (the toaster wasn’t working the whole time we were there) but would be good to pe

Fantastic facility in the middle of the Polychrono. Clean and new facility with an amazing breakfast. It had a breakfast that offered alternatives for all diet types. Beach service and cocktails were also very satisfactory. Room was clean and big enough (with good aircondition). Special parking facility also provided

Me and my wife spent a wonderfull weekend in Halkidiki and we stayed in Royal Hotel and Suites. The room that we had was comfort and had all the facilities that you need for your holidays. The room came with a nespresso machine which is an added value as we had free refill everyday. The breakfast of the hotel is tasty and the show cooking option is a huge plus. Olivo sea side bar is managed by the hotel and there is free shuttle service from the hotel there and back. The beach there is amazing as Halkidiki is famous for that.
