Jardin del Atlantico Stayed 08 May until 12 May 2023 There’s a 50€ deposit required upon checking in. This is handed back when checking out. If you want to hire a safe, the price seems to be based on how many are in your apartment and how long you’re staying for. Our stay for 2 people, Monday to Friday was 6€. Safe instructions are rubbish. Had to call reception who sent someone to help. Young female receptionist was nice, however, witnessed a rude older man who chose to ignore people waiting at reception until he decided he was ready to deal with them. Very abrupt. Needs to rethink his customer service skills. This hotel is in serious need of an upgrade. No air-con in any of the rooms. Stifling hot conditions. There’s a shop in the hotel that rents (yes rents) fans but it was closed for the whole time we were there. Furniture is worn, torn, shabby, chipped and dated. They’ve got a cheek to ask for a deposit for breakages! Bathroom was a disgrace and in serious need of replacement. Floor tiles were chipped. Bedroom had 3 small windows to the top and only one opened. Bedroom backed onto the landing area, which also overlooked the Irish bars straight across the road. These bars entertain until 3-4am so no chance of any sleep because there’s music booming from the 4 different bars. There’s also the Wednesday market that starts setting up from 6am so just when you manage to fall asleep, you’re awoken with all the noise of them setting up. If you close the window, you suffocate from the heat. The bedroom had twin beds that were separated by a bedside unit, so if you’re a couple, don’t expect to be able to sleep together. You’re constantly awoken by the people coming in at all hours and doors banging. If you are a family or have young children you might not want to choose this hotel. Kitchen has a counter-top cooker and also has a fridge-freezer. Found a cockroach in the kitchen area on the 1st night. The hotel has 4 pools with plenty of sun-loungers. There’s a poolside bar at the one with the kids pool. The other 2 large pools don’t have a bar for drinks/soft drinks. Sports bar that’s open from 4-11pm has an outside seating area but gets loud at times if your balcony overlooks that area. Barman was lovely. Very welcoming. Restaurant had a large selection of foods for breakfast and is open from 0800-1000. Most of the hotel clientele are out till 6am so never made breakfast. It was always quiet. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel unless you’re part of the LGBTQ+ community and/or like to party till the early hours, but beware the dated apartments!

We stayed for two weeks. This was second time. The previous almost 2 years ago in January. We had 4 incidents which required reaction from the staff. None of them were directly linked to service. Every time the staff reacted quickly and correctly. BIG PLUS!! The language skills in some hotels in Gran Canaria has been inadequate, but not this one. The reception understood immediately what the problem was and it was fixed quickly and friendly. So the staff was friendly and most of all professional. They knew what to do. The hotel itself is not very new any more, but clean and tidy. The especially good part at least in those apartments we stayed was that even in very windy days, the wind in the balcony did not disturb. We were able to have the morning coffee and evening snack on the balcony without need for xtra clothing. We only used services in the pool bar. The price level was decent and service good.

Very excited on arrival to the hotel with nice entrance, and quirky but dated (forgiveable) lobby with shops. The shops were small and not exactly the kind of shop you could get stocked up for self-catering though. Local bars nearby and close distance to the beach, supermarkets and far enough away from the busier areas. Great. The room was not forgivable. Although excited, we had a "let's make do" attitude. An exposed and broken fire alarm just outside was the first concern, the shower pipe was away from the wall and leaking, the outside door was not secure, furniture dated and in need of an upgrade, the fridge handle was broken and rusted in places, lack of wall plugs and plugs covered up and a very tight bathroom with little space to maneouvre. Did not feel safe. Plenty appliances but didn't stay long enough to try them... The bedroom had complimentary earplugs with a "just in case you need them" advisory. This should have been clear warning. The bedroom window was facing the local [karaoke] bars and clubs just across the road. The noise and vibration, even with earplugs, could not be drowned and could not sleep the first night. The second night was just as bad. We eventually paid for another hotel (Suite Hotel - amazing!) just to get away from the Jardin Del Atlantico hellhole and to make the best of the last 5 days. The one funny point was the receptionist's confusion why we handed the room keys back with 5 days left. Will never return.

Visit GC a few times every year and always stay here. Feels safe and friendly with everything you need in the door step. 3 large swimming pools and a kids area. The largest pool has a bar while the other 2 is quieter with families.

Would use tui but definitely not the hotel the reason I would not stay at hotel some of the staff are very rude the food was very cold all the time one ond off dinner I had two small shells were I could of choke I have pic of them when I complained I was ask to leave dinning room and told if not local police would be called this was unacceptable as I am a very valuable and I am resjerd disabled person also can prove this and told staff this from then I got bullied from staff lasted day was told checkout wass 11 am I understand stud that but to leave the hotel 11 am to pay for food some else is unacceptable as I paid fully inclusive I should been allowed still use the restaurant and till the bus pick up that was 6ish if you go on trip advisor website you will see other holiday makers had similar issues

Noisy dated hotel. I do not recommend staying here if you have children, or if you want to sleep in an evening. There is very little for them to do and you will struggle to sleep. The noise from the 4 Irish bars over the road is unbearable until 3-4am, we did not sleep for more than 3 hours the whole duration of our stay. The hotel does not advertise how close and noisy these bars are. Definite misrepresentation. Holidaying with a 3 year old on no sleep is not recommended!! There is no kids zone as advertised, other than a shallow pool and a very tired play area with holes in the ground, nothing to entertain kids at all. The room is very dated, discoloured and stained tiles, the bathroom is tiny! We were a family of 3, 2 adults and a 3 year old, the ‘sofa bed’ provided for a 3 year old was 2 ft of the ground, no surround, onto a hard tiled floor, not ideal! Female Staff were mainly very nice but made no offer to move rooms when mentioning the noise. Male staff were rude and dismissive. We will be going back to the island but will NOT be staying at this hotel again.

Only stayed here for one night in October. The room was nice, had obviously been newly renovated, but the rest of the hotel was very tired looking - pools etc. The restaurant had been renovated and offered a very good breakfast. Excellent location next to shops and restaurants. The downside was that the room was unbearably hot with no air con or fans, I couldn’t sleep.

Nice and clean. Lovely staff, not that we needed to communicate too much. They were great with any queries we had, as the to in one of the rooms lost signal one day (Fixed with no issue) and my wife’s all inclusive band almost snapped due to a pool incident (Bit too much fun and I caught it with my hand) The lovely lady at reception (Lucia) changed it with no issue and a nice smile. Food service was wonderful, always found something to eat at all meals. I’m not too picky and will try anything once, so I was very happy with all the food. My wife is a very picky eater and likes stuff to be plain and simple. There was plenty of options for her i.e Chips, cheese pizza, chicken nuggets, hot dogs and she ate a lot of chorizo slices. A very good selection. Breakfast was by far my favourite meal time. The hash browns are amazing.
