Wonderful hotel with great rooms and facilities staff on the whole were fantastic. Let down somewhat by the ‘hit and miss’ pool bar service. They give you a buzzer - sometimes someone comes and takes you order sometimes they don’t! On a few occasions after 30 mins I had to go into the bar to order drinks thinking the buzzer wasn’t working, the screen in the bar clearly showed the numbers displayed and there were 4 of 5 staff just standing around chatting, with shrugged shoulders they say they didn’t see the screen so we ordered drinks and 15 minutes later the drinks arrived. Not 5 star service in afraid and needs sorting out. I suggest answer the buzzers or remove them and have staff around the pool taking orders . Other than this we couldn’t fault the hotel

I wished I could give the hotel 6 stars. Myself and my friend came to stay at the hotel for a week. After staying at many on hotels throughout Tenerife this is by far the best. We have meet some amazing people at the hotel, who will be friends for life. The hotel staff throughout are the nicest people and the hotel are food is the best I have ever had. I am so terribly sad to be leaving tomorrow but will most definitely be booking back next year. Thank you for such a great stay :)

I would rate the Sir Anthony as a super 4 star hotel. I would not give it 5 stars simply because it lacks some key facilities for it to comprise a true 5 star experience. There are no proper gym/fitness facilities and the ability to use the facilities in the lesser standard adjacent hotel does not make up for that. There was almost no entertainment on offer during the week we stayed. A duo played/sang on the weekly gala night but other than that the hotel was dead. There could surely be some diversions on offer eg wine tasting or a pianist. The breakfast selection was at best adequate but nowhere near what one would expect from a 5 star hotel. I normally love fresh fruits and vegetables at breakfast but the selection on offer was meagre and did not always seem 100 per cent fresh. What about some fresh berries/granolas etc? The rooms were lovely but even though recently refurbished had shabby elements - grubby bathroom grouting/filthy seals etc. the toiletries were generic and dispensed from wall mounted bottles which was more akin to a municipal leisure centre than a luxury hotel. All that being said there is a lot to commend the hotel. Lovely staff, great location, comfortable beds and a pleasant and well maintained pool area. It is a great 4 star hotel but unfortunately it did not live up to our 5 star expectations.

Wow this hotel has been amazing from start to finish Our check in was soo thoughtful and speedy with a wee drink to welcome us The staff are amazing everyone of them are amazing always helpful and smiling and willing to help in anyway they can We had a rooftop top roof nice splash pool and sun beds towels are supplied Breakfasts are delicious self service and you can order from a menu too Champers served at breakfast too Highly recommended and across the road from the beach too

This was our 3rd visit to Sir Anthony but the 1st since the room upgrades of 2023 , we booked last year for June but the hotel cancelled on us as it wasn’t ready to open much to our disappointment but we where offered and 50% discount on our next stay so we booked for over this Easter holidays , couldn’t have wish for any better we where given a ground floor room with access to the pool area with our own patio with 2 chairs and table and 2 sun loungers , the rooms have just been up dated/ graded absolutely perfect, sleek , modern and fresh all natural colours all new furniture and a great 40 inch tv with English channels ,German channels and obviously Spanish channels , WiFi that works out by the pool area , beautiful bath/shower room, walk in shower , separate toilet ,2 sinks and plenty of packing space , iron and ironing board , coffee machine , kettle, fridge. All electric sockets have usb and the new iPhone socket , plenty of lighting and 2 full length mirrors. Breakfast was all you could ask for from cold meats , cheese , salad , fruits , sandwiches, pastries, and options of cooked full English or all different eggs or pancakes etc, freshly made coffees and teas or champagne and juices . Pool area very clean with plenty of new sun loungers and 2 towels per bed all free of charge the staff come round with a bell buzzer for you to use to order drinks or food brought straight to your sun lounger . There is direct access to the beach via a gate with room key access.We didn’t eat evening meals in the hotel . The hotels across the road from the safari centre and shops . Staff are very friendly and helpful and room service, a special thank you to Alberto and staff for our fantastic stress free stay , can’t to come back .

Hotel is amazing. Location perfect. Breakfast superb and plentiful. Stayed in room with sunbeds & splash pool on roof - a wonderful space for privacy & relaxation. Cannot fault this hotel, highly recommend.

The Sir Anthony is a lovely Hotel all the staff are amazing and always happy to help, we stayed 11 nights, would recommend this hotel. Would go for Bed and Breakfast next time as there are many excellent restaurants near by. The building work nearby was very noisy but will be finished in early summer. We had issues with having to reset our key card frequently. We didn't like the fact that one couple had preferential treatment at breakfast and felt awkward for other guests being asked not to sit at their table ! One tip is to ask the staff for anything you need, they always reply positivley with a smile on their faces ! David and Inga G

Excellent location near extensive promenade and beach, giving easy access to Las Americas, if you are looking for noisy shopping and fun, as well as some peace. Very comfortable junior suite bedroom, with well equipped bathroom. Excellent staff throughout with a particularly friendly, helpful team in the ‘Windsor’ restaurant. Nice pool with plenty of shade opportunities as the day got hotter.

It does what it says on the tin and it’s a pleasure to stay here despite the price point. Everything is first class although there could be more atmosphere in the bar at night as the majority of guests appear to eat and drink outside the hotel.
