First time we have stayed at this hotel. We had originally booked the Coral Compostela Beach Hotel but we received an email to say they had moved us to this hotel so we feared the worst. How wrong we were, this hotel is great. We had a one bed apartment self catering. The staff are great. The rooms are spotless. It is in a prime location, easy to walk to all the best places in Las Americas. The pool area does get a bit shaded in the afternoon but there is a fantastic roof terrace! Plenty of sun beds. No issues with towels on beds. A hidden gem, cheap, great location, adults only. Brilliant!! We will be definitely staying again!

The hotel was very average, the rooms had been redecorated but the hotel it’s is extremely outdated still and disappointing. Do not pay for a pool view room as you will be robbed of the extra money especially if booking with jet 2 they will not refund this and it will be wasted as every room faces the pool. Some staff were very friendly and helpful however. We attended when works were taking place which were extremely disruptive and ruined our trip. Would not return to this hotel or recommend to anyone.

Myself and my boyfriend stayed here for 7 nights and we had a package deal with jet2, we will definitely be back and booking with jet2 aswell, the hotel was spotless and staff where really friendly, walking distance to everything, great location, we did self catering, got a lovely room, we couldn't be anymore chuffed with the hotel, they have a ping pong table and pool table out front, myself and my boyfriend loved playing ping pong, our view from our front door was amazing, we also got a pool and sea view from our balcony, we are really excited for our next visit!!!

We had booked and paid for a 5 day stay at the 4 Star Coral Ocean View but for some reason (which we are still trying to ascertain from the hotel chain) we were moved here. The Coral California is a 2 Star hotel at best and clearly a lesser hotel as to the one we should have been staying in. From reading other reviews it looks like the Coral Hotels make a habit of accepting bookings and then moving guests without prior notification or any valid reason and think this is acceptable. We had booked for a special occasion which I had emailed the hotel about prior to travelling but there was no acknowledgement from the hotel at all that it was my partner's 60th birthday which was very disappointing. Despite several visits to the reception, emails to the central reservations and even a trip to another hotel to try and locate the manager Coral Hotels left us to fend for ourselves. We had been dumped at the Coral California having no idea about the area that we were in or where anything was nearby. We were 1.5km away from where we should have been so all our plans had to change. The Coral California is an average hotel with zero facilities apart from a pool. If you're happy sunbathing like sardines in a shaded area then this is the place for you. We ended up going to the beach every day. There were no activities available at the Coral California. When we asked for pool towels the California refused to lend us any. We hadn’t packed towels in our suitcases as they were part of the package at the Coral Ocean View so we had to buy some whilst we were there. There was construction work going on around the hotel which was noisy. We had an active crane outside our front door, rubble and construction materials in constant view and signs everywhere to say the hotel was under construction. There was also something strange in the wardrobe carcase. We informed the receptionist about it on the very first day and asked whether it could be removed but it was still there when we left and had been ignored by the cleaners. We had no air conditioning, and the wardrobe was also missing its doors. The breakfast was inedible, the selection was poor and it was the same thing every day which had clearly been sat there for far too long. The bread was stale and very limited. It was also obvious that certain items of food were being reheated in the microwave when they had gone cold. Even the cold food either had a funny colour or funny taste to it. It was pretty vile and the same thing was dished up every day. The staff were rude and unhelpful. We asked for a map and we were told to Google everything despite there being a pad of maps behind the reception. When we asked for one it was given to us but not willingly. You are unable to request a late check out and the hotels alternative facilities were not good enough. Your luggage is stored "securely" in a storage room where there are fridges and food so people are constantly in and out leavin

Overall the hotel was fine. The building works were not an issue at all. Barely heard them. Rooms were always clean and fresh towels. Bathroom was slightly on the small side but was adequate enough for 2 people. Comfy beds and lots of wardrobe space. Only downside was the no AC which meant we had to have the balcony doors open most nights to get any sort of breeze in. Only one negative was one of the receptionists was extremely rude and abrupt and extremely unhelpful. Pool could do with some music around given it is VIBE adults only hotel.

Hotel is great! Staff are so friendly, always will help you out no matter what. Rooms are clean, pool and communal area is spotless. There is building work taking place but this didn’t bother either off us. We could still use all facilities just a bit of noise. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was perfect the showers were amazing. Gorgeous view of the sea. The only down side off this hotel is that there is no AC which we did struggle a bit, if it had AC I would have given a 5* even with the building work.

Just returned from a week staying on a jet2 holiday. We had a fabulous week. Although Jet 2 wrote to us about building work, this wasn’t an issue at all. Positives Apartment was bright spacious, very clean. A contemporary feel. Great walk in shower. All the team working here, were very helpful and friendly. Location, close to beach, great bars and restaurants. Supermarket over the road. Availability of sunbeds, despite a small pool, never an issue getting a sunbed. We had a hire car for the week, private parking on site was a bonus. We couldn’t have a late check out, however the shower room was spotless. Which allowed us to freshen up before we flew home. Negatives No aircon, however we manoeuvred our beds each night directly under the ceiling fan, and managed to stay cool all night. I know the hotel are updating the rooms, however the reception / bar area could also do with a face lift.
