Very clean and pleasant hotel- reception staff said we could check in an hr early- only issue was quite a walk to marina or town both 20 mins

This is our third Christmas at Caybeach Sun and so looking forward to booking for this Christmas 2024. Hopefully for three weeks. It’s absolutely ideal and safe for families with young kids, it’s also ideal for couples as a base. It is what you make it. Last Christmas/ 70th birthday I was presented with an amazing fruit basket from the hotel, such a lovely thought. Husband due to his beard was asked if he wouldn’t mind playing Santa on Christmas Day for the kids and grownups lol, the children all thought this was magic, especially the little ones. Each one presented with a gift. I have to give this hotel 100% All the Staff work so very hard every day. You have to take any negative comments with a pinch of salt, yes, there may be a hiccup here and there but honestly the hotel and staff will go every inch to accommodate a problem. We go self catering so can’t comment on the restaurant. Lovely on site shop for essentials. Nice poolside bar with Happy Hour12-1 Outdoor pool is very clean with a policy of not allowing people to covertly grab sunbeds at the crack of dawn. 10am-6pm. Lovely indoor pool for me with a nice temperature plus (free) sauna steam room payable of 3€ payable at Reception. Adults only. YES!!!!! There is a gym, which I only looked at for the more energetic (free ) Husband and I went walking most days loads of places which are flat and lots of taxis I think a trip from town if you have bags of shopping back to hotel was 3€, we would give €5 I think the best thing also for me, is watching people arrive and looking so tense and then after a day or two you can see the Caysun Beach vibes washing over them. It really is a little bit of magic as long as you’re happy to go with the flow. It’s wonderful that everyone chats to each other and come away then with making new friends and new memories. Another plus is that all children are safe.

I stayed in Caybeach Sun with my family for 7 nights and the biggest downside to our stay was the cleanliness of our apartment/hotel, it was extremely disappointing. On arrival we noticed the shower was dirty and there was black footsteps on the floor, stains on the wardrobe and apartment just looked tidied, not cleaned. Cutlery were disgusting dirty and I had to wash everything before using. The kettle had a lot of limescale and black stains inside which is very concerning, (photo attached). Apartment cleaning was basically not a cleaning, floors were still dirty after cleaners were in, towels weren’t changed during our whole stay, I had to ask for new towels at the reception. The remote control, was covered in dirt, seemed that it was never cleaned, I asked for it to be replaced and still got a dirty one, I had to clean and sanitise it myself before using it. The food in the hotel was also disappointing, we only ate in there once on arrival and we couldn’t even finish half of our meals. There was broken equipment in the gym, cables in the multi weights machine were all damaged. Overall I definitely won’t be coming back and I wouldn’t recommend the hotel to anyone which is a shame, because the location is actually great with a short walking distance to the beach, bars and restaurants. They have nice pools and slides for the kids. But management needs a serious review on their facilities, services and standards.

We stayed beginning of April for 1 week. Ahead of the holiday we asked for a high up room with evening sun. Room 352 got the sun in the afternoon till evening very hot balcony. Reception where always very helpful and took time to say hello and thumbs up the children. We stayed bed and breakfast and although I can't comment on the evening meal as we never had it breakfast was ideal specially for the kids. I was worried about the food but it had everything you needed iv uploaded pictures, fresh eggs cooked daily fresh bread fruit salad meats cheeses fish ext. The waitors in the dining room where hard working they where brilliant with the kids. My 2.5 year old would take his plate up to them and they would high five him. Sorry we got no names. We went to kids club once due to our busy day to day but the day we did go the kids done colouring and played sports was a nice way to break the day up. I went into the indoor pool which was lovely nice swim sauna and jacuzzi. The shop was very good good prices beer was about 1 euro in there. The bar prices about 3 euros a beer. The weather was lovely. We would definitely come back to this hotel again. Thank you cay beach 5 stars 🌟

Just back from this hotel and had a great experience. The reception staff are so friendly and helpful (Andres the Irishman) getting a call out. The onsite supermarket is very well stocked and the grounds and pool areas are incredibly clean and well maintained. The apartments are basic but super clean and well supported by staff. Breakfast offers a great choice and the pool bar food is tasty and relatively cheap. Taxi ordering from reception is truly on another level - quick and easy. Well done Caybeach ! I'll be back.

I can't believe this is only a 3 star resort it should be 5+ very clean, the staff were out of this world, my grandson is only 1 and a half and every single staff member made his stay exceptionally brilliant, they all made him laugh so much it was fantastic, the food was lovely and the drinks were so low priced with large measures, we are definitely coming back next year, we wouldn't book anywhere else, this place is great, thank you CAYBEACH 10 out of 10.

Not my cup of tea. The thumping music played by the pool all day long ruined the hotel for me. Something more relaxing, or even no music would be better. We avoided the pool as much as possible and went to the beaches. The room was tired, plenty of mould and peeling paint. The reception team were nice and had to deal with a lot of complaining guests so we didn’t complain to them. The rest of the staff largely ignored us. I wouldn’t stay here again, but playa blanca is a nice area.

This was our 2nd time staying here. We absolutely love it, nice and quiet and not to far for amenities or beach. We don't eat here as we prefer going out. Rooms are basic but spotless, all staff are friendly and very helpful, after speaking with them they have given us some good advice for our daughter who is in a wheelchair, so we have booked again for April and are taking her with us. Many thanks and looking forward to our next visit to you

A very disappointing stay! We booked this hotel as we had stayed twice before and had no issues at all so were looking forward to returning. However the room allocated left a lot to be desired and did take the shine off the holiday. Upon arrival the first thing noted was the smell, not clean and fresh but more like a public toilet. The sink in the bathroom took ages to drain away and there was a drainage smell. There was only one mirror - the bathroom one which made getting ready really awkward with a teenager. The wardrobe door was off its runner, furniture stained, no instructions for the safe or tv. The shower head was filthy, towels threadbare and pillows had seen better days. The cleaning lady did come to clean but this was at 17.30 !! Way too late as we were getting ready for the evening. The room needs a full refurb. I’ve never left a negative review but feel for the price paid ( it was in school holidays ) it was poor value and if it had of been one or two issues it wouldn’t have mattered but they all added up! Positives -the actual grounds and pool are great and are kept clean and tidy. Nice balcony with a good view . The indoor pool was nice to use and food and drinks at the bar were good value. Andreas on reception was lovely and very helpful unlike the miserable female staff. We wont be returning as there are more modern hotels in the same area for a similar price.
