Good around hotel, rooms clean and modern, excellent choice of food. We stayed in the premium suites area, very quiet with excellent sleep. If you're like us and in our early 60's the walk to playa blanca and flamingo took about 30 minutes each, where you will find shops, bars, supermarkets and restaurants. The staff here are friendly and work very hard. We would stay here again.

As a family we were split in 2 separate blocks and put in the adult only section. The hotel wasn't accommodating when we asked to be put together. I would be careful when booking 2 rooms as a family. Easyjet said it was the hotels responsibility not theirs but we booked through them. They advised we should have made a special preference to be put together as a family! I am not aware when booking whether this was an option.

My review is based on the hotel being 4star but lack attention to detail. Staff are great btw, I’ve read in other reviews they have cut staff in the resort and this would reflect this. 1) Food is hit and miss for kids. I’ve done all inclusive before and this was a letdown. My 12yr old didn’t enjoy the buffet. 2) This leads to the a la carte restaurants been booked up so quick and wasn’t told one is only open Sat-Sun.Frustrating! 3) cleaning rooms at 16:00-16:30 when you get in from the pool/beach. Just awkward and inconvenient 4 WIFI - can only be used depending on the where in the resort and what time. 7pm good luck when everyone is trying to get on. 4star resort in 2024 should have this covered. 5) Queuing at times to get into the restaurant. Not for long but again, 4star resort. 6) I had the prestige suit, myself and two teenage daughters. The main bedroom had the double bed made rather than 2 singles. The sofa bed . . . Was just a sofa with sheets. I could pull out the bottom but it didn’t link to the sofa and had no sheets. Rock hard btw. 7) Still serving breakfast at the pool bar at 13:00. 8) Basic drinks for kids, go outside the resort and everyone is selling milkshakes and smoothies. Was just a bit plan and boring. The resort is great for younger kids, staff do really well for entertainment. Based on the above I will not be returning. Been to other 4star resorts in Lanzarote and this isn’t close to what I was expecting.

This was our first holiday in Lanzarote and first time at an Alba Hotel. We were not disappointed! Such a wonderful hotel where the staff are friendly and work tirelessly. Everywhere is cleaned and maintained to a high standard. On our arrival to the hotel we were tired and hungry. Although we were marginally outside of the lunchtime restaurant slot, a female manager (sorry we didn’t catch her name) called us in and ensured we were able to eat and relax. Super friendly and started our holiday off wonderfully. By the time we had eaten our room was ready and luggage delivered to the room. But our holiday just got better thanks to entertainment team! Massive shout out to all the team, you are all awesome! Roberto, Costa and Lulu a special thank you for how you ensured our three children Luca, Erika and Nico had the best time! You absolutely made their holiday. On the last night we had some photos taken by Alessia, she has a lovely nature and is a talented photographer and so we now have some fabulous photos to remember our stay. Thank you Alba, staff and all the team. We will definitely be back!!

Gone downhill Let me say that this would have been a 2 star review but the hotel staff did try and sort out the problems and I have to give them credit for that. This was our second visit to the Elba as the first holiday last year went well. Good bungalow type rooms with own patio which is nice and good for kids with pools and evening mini disco etc. Really let down by management cuts I would say, not enough staff and long lines for drinks, service in restaurants poor etc. Not the staff fault but the need to get more staff on every shift. Food was pretty poor the whole time but they are trying. Some of the rooms have been refurbished but ours was pretty tired and real lack of storage space. A few tweaks and it could be good. 3 star hotel but not a 4 star as they claim. We won't be going back for a third visit. Shame.

Had a fantastic holiday at the Elba the hotel was very clean and the staff were very helpful and pleasant . Carlos on reception was very helpful . On reading some of the reviews I was a bit septical but didn’t need to worry we had a lovely time and the rooms were very nice like little bungalows would recommend to people

The resort is very nice, BUT the food was very bad, poor choice lot`s of cross contamination no spoons on the tables dirty glasses, the bar was a nightmare longest que I've ever seen in a hotel at night time one person serving most nights, it is 2* food hotel.

From the time I booked this holiday and then read the reviews I worried ! But let me reassure you arrived with my daughter on the evening was warmly welcomed by reception staff who were very welcoming told us everything we needed to know and gave us a map of the grounds and directions to our room which we was truly happy with bright clean and warm a mini fridge was a good thing tea and coffee making facilities private patio area with sun beds and a sofa and chair we were relived everything was so good 😊. We stayed half board as we like to go out and about and all inclusive can get a bit repetitive. Breakfast fabulous lots of choice eggs cooked to how you like omelettes definitely a must try cereals fruit different breads and the list goes on was perfect evening meal pulled beef pork joints chicken skewers meat cooked how you like the chef will sort that for you pizza chips stir fry’s the list is endless and all food was hot chefs are there checking everything it was faultless and my daughter and myself are very fussy . Reception staff lovely staff in restaurant all fabulous always smiling showing you to seats didn’t wait for a drinks very efficient and hard working . The only disappointment was other people around us letting there kids throw food on the floor some of them didn’t care not sure what your homes look like ! The staff must be thinking the same as they work so hard . Pool areas very clean entertainment was good for time of year loved the singers in bar area . Cleaners came to room everyday clean towels and floors . Reception staff will kindly order taxis for you if needed .i love Lanzarote and this hotel is up there with other 4* hotels I’ve stayed in definitely will be returning . Big shout out to all the staff we met you all work so hard to make things perfect .
