노크켄다로크 하우스 호텔(Knockendarroch Hotel)

We were simply blown away with our stay at Knockendarroch Hotel. Our suite was pure perfection with wonderful views of Pitlochry. We loved the arrangement of coming into the beautiful lounge before dinner for our aperitif and canopies and choosing our menu and wine before going through to dining room - every course was delicious and beautifully presented. The staff were so welcoming and friendly and would we would like to give a special mention to Adam who looked after us so well. It was a pleasure to meet Louise (owner of the Hotel) and find out more about the history of Knockendarroch. I was brought up in Pitlochry and always remember as a child looking up at this “beautiful building on the hill”. We will definitely be revisiting again for our next special celebration! Thank you to everyone at the Hotel for making our stay so special.

This was my third visit to this hotel and the only difficulty is deciding if the food, the cleanliness, the beautiful room or the staff and their amazing service levels were my favourite thing. They do everything so well. As friends we wanted a little more space so booked the suite which was perfect. The level of cleanliness can’t go unnoticed as the bathroom and its giant mirror were positively sparkling. The food is really incredible. The choice, the fresh produce, the menu changing every day and the presentation is just the start. The flavour combinations in these dishes are a delight. Finally, the staff are the finishing touch here. We were made to feel so welcome, they remembered our drinks preferences, they were attentive and every single one of them had a smile for you. It’s somewhere I hope to visit again and again.

What an amazing hotel. The décor is very tasteful throughout the hotel. The dining room is bright and cheery. The lounge has a log fire and is a great place to chill out in bad weather or in the evening. The food is among the best we have ever tasted in a hotel. The staff were very friendly.

This was our second stay at Knockendarroch, our original stay back in 2016 was amazing and we were very excited to return again. We had such a lovely stay, the food was even more delicious than we remembered and the staff were all so welcoming and kind. I just wanted to say thank you to Louise and all the wonderful staff at Knockendarroch who made our stay really special. We hope to return again soon and in the meantime will be daydreaming about the gorgeous food again.

Hotel was excellent. Staff were first class and nothing was too much hassle. Rooms were very well kitted out to a high standard. The food was amazing and the arrangements were spot on. Would recommend in a flash and will be back sometime. Lovely sitting in the reception rooms with big fires. Only a short walk into town too.

My husband and I have just returned home from a 3 night stay in this charming, relaxed hotel. All of the staff are warm, welcoming and friendly while always entirely professional. This is a delightful hotel, situated in an ideal elevated spot in Pitlochry with wonderful views from balcony rooms. It is very comfortable, tastefully furnished and decorated with understated luxury in the bedrooms and the double lounge which has roaring fires and a lovely homely ambiance. The canapés and food served at dinner were of the highest standard and each dish crafted with detail and love without being pretentious in anyway. The chef cannot be commended more highly and to produce a different menu every day of consistently excellent tasty food is quite exceptional. Thank you to All for such a wonderful stay in this gem of a hotel.

Wow, what can I say, a truly memorable stay. The only unfortunate thing was we stayed just one night but next time longer for sure. From Flo at reception to Aaron and Jyolt. (serving drinks, canapés dinner and breakfast the staff were all excellent, so keen to ensure we enjoyed our experience (I hope I got the Hungarian spelling correct Jyolt) service was friendly attentive and just the right measure of getting the timing right between course. You could not fault it in any way. Dinner was absolutely out of this world, utterly delicious and having canapés & drinks in the lounge round the fire while we waited on chef preparing our meal was a lovely start to one of the best meals we have ever had. We didn’t get to meet the chef but what a star he is. I look forward to returning to sample more of his outstanding cuisine. Breakfast was also delicious, hubby said his porridge was the best he has ever tasted, all products served were local which is great to see. The hotel itself is spotlessly clean and nicely decorated, it is just over a 5 minute walk down to the Main Street in Pitlochry where there is a range of shops and some lovely walks on your doorstep. Our room was lovely with an additional room attached which had an extra TV and little couch which was a lovely touch. You do hear some noise from the kitchen fan in this room so maybe bring some earplugs if you are a light sleeper like moi. I think some music in the dining room and the lounge would increase the ambiance of both areas of the hotel. We look forward to returning and will not stay anywhere else when visiting Pitlochry, their 5 star rating on TP is well deserved. Thanks a million for such a lovely overnight.

I was there last week and it was the best stay I had in Scotland by far. Contact by email was very good, polite and informative. Arrival was very good with welcoming staff. The bedroom (balcony) was really nice and the view stunning. And la cerise sur le gateau was definitely the dinner, I cannot praise enough how good it was, it was f......g excellent ! I really hope me and my wife can get back there because we loved it, and the food was the best I had so far in Scotland. Oh the snug room is so nice and comfy, and the amuse bouches, ahlala everything was lovely, I don't even know where to start. And in french: foncez, c'est de la balle, c'est juste trop bon si vous êtes de passage sur Pitlochry (qui est une super jolie ville au demeurant). On reviendra pour sûr :).

Fantastic hotel in Pitlochry, within walking distance of town centre with all amenities. Stayed in Garden Room - beautifully decorated with lots of space and with the bonus of private out door garden area! We had dinner within the hotel - one of the best meals every had, huge compliments to the chef and all other serving staff every thing was 100% perfect, breakfast same experience could not and cannot fault - phenomenal. Will definitely be back.
