디 올드 맨스 오브 블레어(The Old Manse of Blair, Boutique Hotel & Restaurant)

위치는 완벽했습니다! 블레어 폭포 및 기타 편의 시설과 매우 가깝습니다. 직원은 매우 친절했지만 5 성급 시설에서 더 많은 것을 기대했을 것입니다. 방은 깔끔하고 매우 편안한 침대가 있었지만 작았고 옆방 손님의 소리가 들렸습니다. 아침 식사는 괜찮 았습니다. 웹 사이트에 광고 된 것처럼 멋진 것은 없습니다. 우리가받은 서비스에 비해 약간 비쌉니다.

Lovely stylish room with every amenity you could want.

The owners cheat you. The place is over priced. There are better deals in the area. The rooms are cheaply done. It’s a tacky place that just tacked on boutique so they can charge more money. It’s one of those places that tries but doesn’t make it. Don’t waste your time and money for the frustration!!

Wonderful stay. I was in a garden room - very peaceful. Lovely warm room with a sitting area. Tea kettle and snacks. Huge bedroom. Very close to Pitlochery. Lots to do within short driving distance. Would stay again.

The grounds were absolutely gorgeous - and it was a nice bonus that there was a horse, a mini pony, and a few Highland cows right on the property. We had dinner at the Orangery restaurant and it was incredible, the best food I had in Scotland.

We had a wonderful detour due to torrential rains. This was a refreshing, relaxing stay. Andy was so hospitable, attentive and knowledgeable! We truly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend. *bed were so comfy as were the pillows!! Adding a pic of the sweet coo too!

Lovely stay, excellent dinner. Falls of Bruar nearby well worth a look. A couple of little things that I'd mark down 1/2pt for though: £7.50 (before service charge) for a bottle of water is a lot - its not Ibiza! And an 18% service charge is a bit presumptuous - its not New York either! I'm happy to splash out on great hotels and restaurants but I don't like being nickel-and-dimed at every turn. Some feedback to ********** - it could've been made clearer that breakfast was not included in our booking. It would have actually been less expensive if we booked direct.

We were lucky enough to happen across the Old Manse when looking for a special occasional treat in Perthshire. The location, the building, the set up and the menu all looked extremely promising; but we didn’t fully appreciate what a treat we were in for until we arrived. It is very conveniently located off the main road and is clearly sign posted. The first impressions are excellent with an appropriately grand entrance and a sweeping drive alongside fields with horse and cattle. We were warmly greeted on arrival, with a number of nice touches and friendly observations - down to where we had travelled from - top notch. The room was ideal, with a very comfy bed (which is a must for us fussy sleepers) and a gloriously big free standing bath as the main features. We had booked in for supper, which I am very happy we did. There is some tough competition in the area, but the Old Manse restaurant was outstanding. Again, the service was ideally friendly and efficient throughout. The food was some of the best we have eaten. The chef clearly loves their food, and is extremely good at it too. A concise menu allowing for everything to be beautifully on point. We have three courses and all of them were thoughtfully put together, with simplistic, classic explanations - then very well crafted and complex takes on some great dishes. The particular highlights were the grouse, the sauce made with scallop roe and cider vinegar (one of the most scrumptious sauces that will every grace and scallop), and the cream with the macerated strawberry pudding. All simple on paper but superbly delivered. To top it off the drinks menu was superb, and the setting for enjoying a drink before and after was spot on - a roaring fire at one end, and a walk through the grounds at the other. The Old Manse isn’t a cheap trip, but you wouldn’t want it to be. It gives you great bang for your buck and I’d heartily recommend you lean into the experience and both eat and stay here. There are plenty of small hotels and restaurants with rooms that have great promise - this one delivers in spades.

I really appreciated staying at n a room that opened directly into a colourful, beautifully maintained garden.
