We visited Proteas Blu in July 2023 and we had an amazing time. The room was clean, house keeping was immaculate, everyone in the resort was highly attentive and always ready to help, even without us asking. Golf cars were taking us to the beach and back any time we needed it. We went to Cavo beach bar often and the staff were extremely polite and welcoming, especially Simonetta and, above everyone else, Pantelis! Pantelis truly made our experience special and memorable. Big thank you to the entire team and we hope to come back.

Let's start from the good - as almost everyone mentions, the service is (mostly) great. The beach area is great as well. Resort is quiet and nice, Breakfast is ok+. And now let's talk about the weak spo of this hotels - the rooms! The bathroom is like from a 2-start hotel in india, not maintained, shower holder rusted, a lot of scale/limescale. Overflooding after a shower - all the floor was wet, so you couldn't go to a toilet. Another issue - our bed was so.. bad! It had a large curvature in the mattress, and the mattress itself of a very lower quality = prepare for a bad sleep if you have a problematic back (like me). I've reflected all the room problems to hotel's staff, but they refused to provide me a better/normal room, so here is for this hotel's "wonderful" service. A rental car or taxi is necessary if you want to eat outside the hotel. The next town is 30 minutes away on foot, but there is no walk there. You move along the side of the road. This is definitely not a 5 star hotel, more like 4 if you don't take a room into account, 3 or less if you do. I've visited many countries (and hotels) in my life, many of them are 5*, and I can say with confidence - a hotel that provides such a room, can't classify itself as a 5* hotel. Unfortunately, due to all these unpleasant circumstances, in case you're truly seeking for a 5* experience, I can't recommend this hotel.

Awesome Hotel Me and my daughter are super excited over our stay at Proteas Blue, very nice room with a stunning view and the staff were super friendly, the breakfast was amazing and the beach really nice with sunbeds and a beachbar nearby. The best holidays! Amazing place and all people working in this Hotel. Fantastic service and food! We enjoyed. I wish to give strong 10/10. Beautiful beach next to the hotel and fantastic swimming pool. I recommend this place.

I am very satisfied of the services of this hotel! Very clean area , full of flowers, by the sea. The bed and the pillows were exceptional! All employees have a genius smile on their face! The free yoga lesson by/ in the pool helped us relaxing!!!!Proteas Blu management offered us small gifts daily! Perfect place one should be at least once in lifetime.

Second time in this resort. We generally know what waiting for us in this rather spartan 5* hotel. There is no chair in the room. We brought them in from the balcony. Surprise: dinner, menu. Big disappointment. My husband eats a limited number of foods due to indigestion problem. If we had known this, we would not have chosen this place. I saw many guests to leave their plates with food. Suggestion: The hotel could supply a few water dispensers. Three 0,5 l water bottles are insufficient. They could also organize a better evening party considering the isolate location of resort.

Where to start? A wonderful location, lovely light and airy rooms, terrific exclusive beach with great sun beds. Great food and drinks. Terrific variety at breakfast, lovely pool. The most memorable though was the professionalism of the staff, the enthusiasm and friendliness of the whole team was outstanding. It's on a hill so some walking to get from beach up to rooms but this is made a lot easier by the buggy/golf cart that is always on hand to take you up and down if needed. You'll need to budget for taxis to get to Pythagoreio town if eating out - 16 Euros round trip. I would recommend to all my friends. It's mostly couples or groups of 3 or 4 and no children which I would not normally look out for but in the end an adult resort felt very grown up, peaceful and luxurious. Such a lovely experience. My advice would be to visit the Eupalinos tunnel. An ancient wonder of the world, only 10 minutes taxi from Pythagoreio.
