Abbiamo soggiornato in questa struttura solo per una notte, ma è bastata per cogliere lo spirito di ospitalità di tutto il personale, che con molto garbo e professionalità ci ha fatto sentire "a casa", complimenti a tutto lo staff e alla struttura dimostratasi per pulizia all'altezza delle sue stelle.

Beautiful hotel with friendly staff. This is a small hotel with stylish and comfortable public areas including a pool with loungers. The staff were fantastic, always happy to help and were friendly without being obtrusive. Our room had a lovely balcony with a view of the lake. Would recommend

As soon as we arrived and parked easily in the allocated parking outside the hotel we felt calm and relaxed . We were greeted with courtesy and charm . All staff were superb and special mention must go to Orietta who is very helpful ,friendly and gives such helpful advice about evening restaurants and things to do . We had a beautiful room with a balcony overlooking the lake . It was spacious modern and spotlessly clean with a modern bathroom and excellent shower . Breakfasts were an array of tasty local produce . Pisogne is peaceful and quiet . We ate at Trani trattoria and La Curt restaurant and went back to both as they were so lovely . The hotel is a short easy walk into the town centre ( about 10 minutes ) We rarely needed to use the car . The hotel provides tasty salad lunches and drinks served on the terrace overlooking the pool . We would certainly recommend this hotel and an idyllic little town.

Delightful small boutique hotel in a great location with fabulously helpful staff. The rooms are well appointed and quiet. Breakfast on the terrace in the morning sun was a great way to start the day. There is a bike room which was useful. The short walk down to Pisogne was pleasant and there are some great cafes and restaurants there.

This is a lovely hotel in a beautiful part of the world. Unlike the busier lakes this area is very gentle and tranquil. The hotel is quietly elegant. The rooms are comfortable and the breakfast ample. My only suggestion would be to include a few variations on the egg options ! Orietta and her team are simply lovely. They are kind and warm and extremely happy to give suggestions as to where to go and do. Every single one of them was spot on. One everlasting memory would be cycling in the nearby nature reserve, getting lost and then finding our way to Lago Moro. You can rent e-bikes from the hotel itself. Such a treat!!

This is a four star hotel with a five star service. We stayed here for five nights and can't wait to come back. The hotel is nicely located on the slope down to the village, which gives you a fantastic view over the lake and the mountains. It's only a short walk (5-10 minutes) down to the waterfront. The selection at breakfast is not large, but it is top quality and includes what you want for brekfast. Worth mentioning is also the hotel's resturant. It serves very tasty and delicate dishes typical of the region for a very reasonable price.

Small, clean, bike friendly, dog friendly hotel with kind staff (Guilia at the front desk was especially helpful). We stayed for one night while exploring the upper lake. Our room was comfortable and well air-conditioned with a hillside lake view. A few things to note: 1) Bring your own pool towel, because they charge for them otherwise. 2) While the hotel is walking distance from the town and train station, it’s a good 15 minute walk uphill to the hotel (and would be difficult with heavy luggage or for anyone with mobility issues). There appears to be ample parking on site, however, for anyone visiting by car. 3) Their restaurant is not open on Wednesdays (and much of Pisogne is also closed on Wednesdays) so keep that in mind when booking. There is no food available at the hotel on Wednesdays whatsoever (outside of breakfast) and you’re not permitted to bring food back to your room. (If you get take away somewhere, like we did, they’ll set up a table for you elsewhere in the hotel. They also offered to assist with delivery.)

We received a very warm welcome from all the staff here. Nothing was too much trouble. All areas of the hotel were very clean and very smart. The room wasn’t large, but the bed and bedding were extremely comfortable. I was however, very disappointed that the air conditioning was switched off as a matter of policy for our stay. I have a blood pressure / heart problem and as a consequence I really need a cool room in which to sleep. Breakfasts were brilliant, except, it has to be said, we were later down to breakfast on our first morning and were greeted by a male member of staff who, when he saw the scrambled eggs in the dish I was looking at had virtually run out, and had been kept warm for more than two hours, he offered to have an omelette made for us. We thought this was very kind so said that would be lovely. When I went to settle the hotel bill after our three night stay, I was shocked to see that we had been charged for two omelettes. This really didn’t match the ethos of this lovely hotel. It left a bitter taste in my mouth, but I’m hoping this was just a genuine error on their part so I’m still awarding five stars. There’s a delightful dining room and we ate there for two of the evenings. The restaurant is closed on a Wednesday. The walk into town is quick and easy, once you’ve crossed the main road / junction outside the hotel. Uphill for the way back, but not too bad. We couldn’t afford a lake view room, but it actually didn’t really matter as the lake is some distance away. We could see the church across the road instead which was still a lovely view.

Our fantastic experience started the moment we arrived here. We were about 22 hours into a trip from California to this gem of a lake when we pulled into the free parking in front of this hotel under a powerful summer thunderstorm. We were welcomed warmly and instantly made a dinner reservation for about 1/2 hour after we arrived. We were led to our room personally while the attendant explained how the room worked, the pool policy, breakfast options, and spa options. Thirty minutes later we were in the restaurant eating a wonderful meal, the kind I could never make at home, with the rain coming down and only one other couple in the restaurant. It was idyllic-the best possible ending to a very long plane and automobile trip! The room was comfortable and the shower sublime. We had a balcony and view of the lake, mountains, church, and the very interesting cemetery across the street. The room was impeccably clean. The cooling system cannot keep up with the summer heat but the fan sure helped. We ordered massages at the last minute and received them the next day. We were all alone in the spa and had a nice soak in the hot tub. We enjoyed the pool in the middle of the hottest days. We could walk to restaurants, bars, and the supermarket for supplies. Everyone here bent over backwards to make us feel comfortable and welcome. Smiles all the time, everywhere. And, namely, ****Francesca**** is my hero because she personally pressed my jacket for the wedding we attended. But I have to say that my favorite experience here was the last night when I went down to the lovely courtyard for a last view of the stars before bed. I saw the whole hotel staff together sitting around after closing time, at their own hotel, enjoying the evening and, perhaps, some well-earned cocktails. It hit me: this hotel is so great that people sign off and still hang out there to blow some steam off. I guess this review is a long way to say that we felt like we were at home. Grazie mille to all the staff and ownership of Lake Hotel La Pieve. You made a mark on us and we will be back with our kids. We started crying when we driving away.
