그랜드 호텔 첼 암 제(Grand Hotel Zell am See)

Accueil plus que limite Lors de notre réservation je sélectionne une suite pour 4 personnes avec 2 petits dej ( les enfants ne prennent pas leurs petit dej) Arrivée à l’hôtel on nous impose un surplus de 160 euros pour les enfants en nous faisant payer le petit dej des enfants Impossible de faire autrement Le panier d’accueil est composé d’une pomme !!! Pour un 4 étoiles c’est plus que limite… le sauna dans la salle de bain parfait … mais impossible de l’arrêter Pas de peignoir pour descendre au Spa Sèche cheveux ne fonctionne pas … Un portier et un voiturier sont à disposition des client dans l’hôtel nous attendons….. quelques minutes mais la préférence ira aux clients les plus fortunés de l’hôtel ( destination prisée de voyageurs venant du moyen orient ) nous avons d’ailleurs l’impression que l’hôtel est à eux !! Malheureusement aucuns échange avec ses clients … SPA magnifique petit dej parfait

I have a complaint. Yesterday, I came to breakfast according to my reservation at the hotel. I did not find a table and I did not find anyone to receive me. So I went to a table where there was no one. I sat down to eat breakfast. I was surprised that the waiter asked me to leave the table in front of everyone, which embarrassed me in front of everyone present and put me at a far table. About the people, and I had to talk to the manager Marco to solve my problem. First, he refused to shake my hand. He showed me the guest list and that I was at the bottom of the list and did not deserve to be in view. He told me that he would reserve a table for me for tomorrow, but when I arrived today, I did not find my room number on any table nor anyone to guide me. Where is the professionalism in this dealing? And the manager tells me that I am at the bottom of the list and I do not deserve your good place!!! لا انصح ب الفندق من سوء الإدارة و سوء التعامل موظفين المطعم إذا حجزت لا تحجز بفطور عنصريه تعامل سيء جدا من اسوء تعامل في الفنادق الي زرتها موقعه جميل ولكن إدارة سيئه

Overall is good. Just the hotel is old.

Staying at this hotel was the primary reason I stopped in this city. I was looking forward to a beautiful room overlooking the water and a cozy scene as depicted in pictures. I need to remember that pictures lie. I was initially given a room on the 6th floor. The view was fine, but it was SO HOT and there was no air. Reception (Thalia) was extremely helpful and offered a downgrade to an air condition room. While the view was better and I paid for a higher room, I also needed to sleep so I moved. I regretted that decision as I was placed in a different building which was not convenient to getting to meals, etc and I discovered spiders. Parking was also confusing as it was not communicated just to pull up to the door and I ended up paying for parking twice. My luggage was damaged by staff when I was leaving the hotel and I wrote the hotel with no response from them regarding this issue. When I went to go to dinner that night there was an issue finding my name on the room list and I was made to feel like a trespasser. Then once I was settled they uprooted me to move me to another table. Completely unnecessary and insulting with people staring at me wondering what the issue was. My server also made fun of my trying to speak German to him causing more stares. People also kept coming by asking my room number repeatedly. I was not comfortable having my room number repeatedly stated out loud while traveling alone. What should have been a relaxing stay was sadly anything but.

Beautiful location on the lake. Hotel room slightly dated however good soundproofing. Only ****** No iron or ironing room. You could pay to have it done done if needed

Here now and was a little apprehensive given previous reviews, but..hotel is spotless, staff are so friendly and our room is spacious and well maintained. The food is amazing. Definitely a ‘grand’ hotel but not ‘stuffy’ in any way. And the views…..just amazing! I don’t do reviews generally but felt compelled too on this occasion as it’s so good. Hope this helps😁

We originally booked for Chris**as 2020 , but due to Covid this was cancelled. The hotel asked if we would like to go in 2021. We jumped at the chance. Despite various hurdles put in our way we made to the hotel. We were shown to our room were a Chris**as tree was waiting for our presents t be put under it. The view from the hotel room down the lake was beautiful. Despite all the Covid restrictions the hotel did their best to make sure as many as the activities as possible took place. Cocktail making classes , dinner in the wine cellar. New Years Eve could have the full feeling and excitement , as all the bars and restaurants had curfew , which meant no staying in the bar to celebrate the New Year. The hotel still managed to make it special by delivering canapes and champagne to the room so we could celebrate. Most people went to their balconies and toasted each other , but socially distanced. We would love to return when things are back to "normal" an experience the full Chris**as and New Year festivities. A special mention must go the minibus drivers for there work in transporting guests from the hotel to the ski lifts , it made life so much easier. The restaurant staff were fantastic , the food was amazing and always plentiful with lots of choices. I must say our waiter Alexander was totally professional but also completely approachable if we needed to change anything. After skiing the afternoon snacks and entertainment in bar were a must. There is only one thing I would say we were very grateful to be sat in Stubli part of the restaurant , away from the dinner live entertainment , which at times seemed rather loud. This purrly our opinion I am sure a great many people enjoyed , but it just not to our taste.

We loved the Grand Hotel. The service was great from check-in to check-out. I found the beds super comfy, although some found them too hard. Breakfast was great with a fabulous choice. We were leaving early on our last day and they let us have breakfast even though it was way before "opening time". We would love to come back in the summer.
