What a beautiful place to stay. Management were friendly and welcoming. It is quiet and the units , pool and grounds are well maintained. We will definitely be back but maybe a downstairs unit next time 🤣. If you go to Maggie , book this place 😊😊

Wonderful location to celebrate some birthdays with friends traveling from all over Australia. Location is close to bus service hotel beaches golf course and starting point for walks. Great facilities and rooms with amazing hosts - highly recommended.

Customer service was superb. We were in a group that booked 11 of 12 rooms and had a ball. Any problems were addressed immediately , and lots of advice on "what to do" on Maggie. Rooms have been updated and were clean and comfortable. We will be back !!!

Hidden away, 1 block from the beachfront in Picnic Bay is this gem of a place. Beautiful quiet boutique style resort, with a lovely garden and pool. Mostly good for 2-3 people but they managed to accommodate us with a trundle bed for 2 teenagers. There is a fully equipped barbecue in the garden setting. Our room had cooking facilities and kitchenette with full fridge/freezer. The room was spotless and exactly as the pictures on the website. It's a 2 minute walk to the hotel and local restaurants. Fantastic place!!

This was a perfect stay on Magnetic Island (Maggie). Tropical Palms Resort is located in Picnic Bay within a very short walk to the local restaurants and hotel. Rooms were large & clean, bed was great and the abundance of hot water from the rainfall shower was magical. Swimming pool was a welcomed relaxing soak after a full day site seeing, then a couple of drinks and (take out) dinner by the pool, what more could you ask for. The owner/managers Rob & Jen were the perfect hosts, it was a trouble free stay. They were ever helpful with interesting places to go & see, including best value for money & taste restaurants, whether just within a short walking distance or venturing around the island. They also have hire cars, making it a simple task to go and site see the other attractions on the island. I’ll definitely return to Maggie Island and my first stop will be to check in at this hotel.

Extremely friendly and helpful hosts - Jenny and Rob. Room was clean, tidy, spacious and very comfortable. Excellent location- close to beach and eateries - particularly recommend Mamma Roma. Pool and outdoor area including BBQ was relaxing with lush tropical vegetation. Vehicle hire was also available and vehicle delivered to ferry- great service! Would definitely return and highly recommend.

Unexpected stay on an island, turned out when we booked for a conference in Townsville QLD Australia one of the suburbs listed was Magnetic Island. It was such an interesting place and very well organized. A local bus meets the ferry and you get dropped very close to your accommodations. The Tropical Palm was a very clean and friendly landing. I will definitely be back to explore the Island properly.

Lovely accommodation at the peaceful southern end of Magnetic Island, less than five minutes walk from the beach and bus stop. We enjoyed an upstairs room, fully self contained with double cooktop, full sized fridge, microwave oven and plenty of crockery & cooking utensils. We made good use of the BBQ and outdoor eating area. The pool is small but very clean, partly covered by shade cloth and there are pool lounges & towels available. The property is surrounded by tropical gardens, all scrupulously clean and well maintained. There were lots of native birds to watch and listen to from the balcony sitting area outside the room. There are guest laundry facilities and a clothesline available which was handy after swimming. The hosts Rob and Jen were welcoming and helpful in all respects. They have 4WD hire cars available but we were happy to rely on the excellent island bus services that go regularly up the east coast from Picnic Bay through Nelly Bay (ferry terminal, supermarket etc), Arcadia, and lovely beaches all the way up to Horseshoe Bay at the northern end.

This was our 11th trip to Magnetic Island, we are a group of social golfers who play in Proserpine every Sunday morning. We have stayed at TP every year and for us, it is the perfect venue. We can walk to the Picnic Bay Pub, the Brewery, Mama Roma and other eating and drinking venues, we can walk to the Magnetic Island Country Club for our 2 days of golf. We also cook up a breakfast storm each morning before we play and enjoy a very leisurely BBQ on the Sunday afternoon. The rooms are spotless and comfortable and the hosts Jen and Rob are very helpful and patient. Wouldn't go anywhere else, even if it was just us as a couple or as above with 20+ of us. Can thoroughly recommend TP. We love it.
