Visited for 2 nights as part of a Jordan trip. Rooms very comfortable and quite large, Clean as well. Facilities are good with an indoor and out door pool, although the out door pool was very cold, quite refreshing after a hot day touring food was good Place is Alcohol dry

Fabulous quite large, although DRY hotel, with spacious rooms/ ensuites and really delicious buffets for dinner and breakfast. Transport by buggy available on request as some rooms are a distance from reception and restaurant. Very nice foyer with small pop up perfume shop and adjacent souvenir shop with excellent array of affordable clothes, jewellery, books, gifts, souvenirs etc.

The essence of luxury at the gateway to one of the Seven Wonders of the World. This family run hotel resort is almost beyond luxurious, set in the old village of Petra, with incredible views, beautiful and super comfortable rooms, wonderful staff and great facilities including a stunning outdoor pool. The breakfast and dinner buffets are just delicious.

Absolutely charming hotel, you really feel as though you are in a little town back in history. The rooms are just ok, but they are so spacious that it is perfect for families. The meals are lovely, the staff was very friendly, my only recommendation is to heat the pool as it was freezing. But other than that a one-of-a-kind experience

Lovely family run resort but a few things seemed off. We had a poor spa area experience. My massage was disappointing and my friend ended up having to shower off in our room after a skin trea**ent when the spa area had no hot water available. While we joked about this it was not great that she was still charged full price as the experience was degraded and she got very cold and was then driven Up the hill ( part dressed) by buggy to our room to shower Many of the lockers in the spa area are broken The buffet dinners were good but the breakfast was not as good as our other hotels. Some rooms are a real trek up a steep hill but golf cart is available on request. Nice rooms and well kept gardens

We stayed at the Old Village for two nights while we visited Petra. It's a fantastic hotel with a boutique hotel a**osphere. The overall facilities are very nice, and our kids really enjoyed the indoor pool. The restaurant was nice, the rooms are clean, spacious and well appointed, and the staff are incredibly friendly. The hotel team gave us two rooms with sun decks and amazing views of the town and surrounding mountains. I definitely recommend this hotel.

So charming and historical. The rooms were nice and large. I asked for a room with a view after seeing the room I was given. Nothing was wrong with it. I just wanted a room with a terrace and a view. They were so accommodating. At first they showed me a room that nearly double the size of the first room, but upon learning that I was a single traveler, they had another available room with a balcony and views with no additional charge. I would have paid the additional for larger room if nothing else was available, but this worked out beatifully. I was happy. I also got a massage and the masseuse was wonderful. The food at this resort was excellent. I must say it's was the best food I've had yet on this trip and we just spent 10 days in Egypt.

Lovely property but having more shuttle buses to the town and Petra would be good.
