시쏘우스 로지(Seesaw's Lodge)

My primary reason for our stay at Seesaw’s Lodge was family history, because the inspiration for the name “Johnny Seesaw” came from my grandfather “Ivan” Carl Sesow, a Russian immigrant who was the proprietor and builder of The Wonder View Log Pavilion. My secondary reason was to check off an item on my “bucket list”: experience Kim & Sean’s reconstruction of the property. Our “Stick Season” mini vacation was divine perfection. The modernization provided everything from a beautiful central great room with access to a complete kitchen and cozy fireplace sitting area, where we enjoyed hot cider and cookies, while conversing with other guests whose stays focused on skiing. There was also a spacious mud room entryway, a game room with pool table, and washer/dryer. We stayed in the Birch Room (my favorite tree) with French doors opening onto a covered deck. The gas fireplace kept us warm and cozy as we slept on gel-cooled mattresses with cotton blankets/down comforters. The bathroom had things like a dual flush toilet and 6-foot tub/shower with both shower head and wand ( which I have at my home). Hot water was instantly on, water quality was superior to where I live, and the lavender bath products were high quality. Plenty of towels!! Custom closet with built in drawers even provided a stepping stool for shrimps like me as well as cozy robes. Next visit I’ll grab a toothbrush, pack lightly, and head to the Green Mountain National Forest. I have always loved my Vermont birthplace and now I love Sesaw’s Lodge. P.S. Do not forget to dine on site!

Between the resturant and the lodging were fabulous. The atmosphere was amazing and the staff made the trip more enjoyable. The appetizers were on point, dinner was amazing, local beers were being served.

Stayed in Fox’s Den. Great amount of space inside with a great big couch. Clean. Great big shower. Parking at the front door. We also had a delicious dinner in the restaurant. Josh was super helpful! Just a fantastic experience!! Can’t wait to go back.

Extremely comfortable lodge with lots of amenities. Our room had a thermostatically controlled fireplace that the kids loved, and a really spacious communal great room and chef's kitchen (in the main lodge) that was a really great gathering place to play games, eat, and socialize. The hosts were extremely friendly and seemed like they wanted our stay to be the best it could be. There's also a number of EV chargers on site (one at the multi-room lodge, a number associated with the restaurant) that made our visit extra convenient. Would definitely book here again!

Beautiful lodge 2 mins from Bromley and close to Manchester. Has everything needed for a cozy couples weekend getaway. Comfy bed, Netflix, warm fireplace, and a private cedar hot tub experience to top it off! Easy check in and communication throughout. Will be back!

This lodge is a destination in and of itself. The rooms are so comfortable and very well appointed. We spent most of our time I. The great room, enjoying the fireplace and ambiance. So much fun playing pool in the billiards room and the kitchen had everything we needed and then some. I can’t recommend this place enough, whether you’re skiing next door at Bromley, shopping in Manchester or just want a classic Vermont getaway.

Beautiful location and lodge. Rooms were great. Showers were amazing!! Didn’t know restaurant was closed on Sundays. And therefore there were no other guests at the lodge. Had the whole place to ourselves.

We had a fabulous time! We ate in the restaurant 3 times and all our meals were excellent! The staff was amazing and took care of our every need! The units are all brand new and very nice! The shower was amazing … I could have lived in there! We highly recommend Johnny Seesaws!!!!!

I searched many different places for our road trip thru Vermont on the scenic route 100 and I'm sure glad we picked the SeeSaw Lodge Beautiful, very clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend. And can't wait to return.
