So lovely in this hotel , very chilled , it’s room are clean food is good , cocktails fab .pool is lovely it’s a metal so water is clean . You need car so u can get around as a car ride in to town . They have a very good restaurant that has outside people coming to eat there , so need to book

We stayed 4 nights during our road trip commute to Spain and we enjoyed our stay and restaurant meals. The staff are very welcoming and the rooms clean and tidy with all the facilities required. We will certainly use Villa Deflot on our next trip. G+T.great

Perfect service, well cleaned rooms. Balcony at the room. Good restaurant. Good location and easy to find. We liked the room very much with the balcony. Well cleaned and ok beds.Possible to charge your electric car at the hotel parking.

A very nice experience for a stopover on the way north from Spain. The hotel is perfectly located, close to the Autoroute exit, for a stopover on the way north or south. Reception was very friendly indeed, and the room nice and clean, with a good bathroom and a separate WC. There is a nice garden with a small poll, which is close to the restaurant and more like a plunge pool, than a swimming pool for families. The restaurant is very good, run by a friendly team and we had a very nice dinner. It was very hot that night, so open glass panels fronting the pool could have been closed and AirCo switched on, but that is a detail. Breakfast was very o.k. as well. We will visit again when coming along that route again.

This was our second stay at Villa Duflot, just for two nights on our way to Spain. Once again we felt really spoilt - nice, professional staff; large and well-appointed room; peaceful garden with a great swimming-pool. And above all: a superb restaurant! Not to forget: good parking facilities.

This hotel was a wonderful surprise. We were driving through France and stopped at this gem over night as my husband had stayed last year as it is dog friendly, which we needed. What a gorgeous place this is! Our room overlooked the pretty gardens and the bed was super comfortable. The outside area where the restaurant, pool and bar are, are super stunning. At night the whole place is lit up and is so magical! The food was excellent and the breakfast was outstanding. The staff are all so charming, I absolutely loved this wonderful place!

Lovely hotel in many respects but also a few flaws. I would suggest that this is more a hotel built around a restaurant than a hotel with a good restaurant. The ladies on arrival couldn't have been more helpful, as we arrived a good few hours before check in, and they went above & beyond to get us in much earlier for which we were extremely grateful. The room itself was large & airy with a great bathroom filled with lovely 'Nuxe' products & big fluffy towels. There was a small terrace area over looking a small courtyard area which was very peaceful. The swimming pool area was lovely with plenty of seating & sunbeds. However this is the first negative, the pool is literally inches away from the restaurant tables, and as such they restrict the times you can use the pool (which wasn't mentioned on the website). Between 12-2.30pm the pool is closed, to allow the diners peace and not to be splashed. Being the hottest part of the day that is when I like to be able to cool down. This leads me to the main negative we found of the visit .... the location is not very good at all, it is a LONG way out of the city, on the edge of an industrial estate and a motorway! We discovered that there was a Supermarche & boulangerie across the motorway, but we had to take our lives in our hands to dash across!! There are NO little bars/bistro's/Cafe's around the hotel. Due to this the hotel I guess assumes that you will be dining with them but at high prices and very limited options this didn't suit us, and so we ended up having to take taxi's in to the centre of Perpignan (approx 15-20 euros), as the only food options were the restaurant or a cheese/meat platter in your room. No pool/snack/childs menu. Lastly when we were departing our bill stated that we had spent money in the restaurant and had two breakfasts and the bar bill stated more drinks than we calculated we had, so it is worth double checking the bill before paying. We did query it and the gentleman agreed to remove the breakfasts but not the 'Restaurant' charge. I do believe that the Hotel should update the website and make things clearer, like the location, the pool hours and the fact that some things advertised such as games room/cafe etc didn't appear to exist anymore.

Top class hotel - an oasis of calm 3 miles from Perpignan. Lush gardens. Comfortable beds, large rooms and relaxed atmosphere. Staff excellent and very obliging before (via email) and during trip. Room service good, and minibar provided. Pool lovely - unheated but so refreshing. Food is to die for, try the locally sourced artichoke, and breakfast choice exceptional. Only hassle we had was an over zealous room maid who threw away my UK teabags in a poly bag! Other than that, a perfect stay and I'm fussy. All hotels should be like this
