A coffee maker in the room would be nice Great reception Bare bone hotel at a nice location

Excellent service and check in. However this is a 1 or 2 star hotel at best and it shows in the quality of the rooms. Our sink was clogged and unusable. There was old kleenex stuffed in the bathroom window screen. It felt uncomfortable to be there because we were worried about the functionality and cleanliness.

Hotel could use a renovation. Not enough parking. Front office employee was very friendly and helpful. Great location!!

Front desk staff was rude. Online pictures must have been from when the property was new. Rooms were nothing like the pictures and there were bugs in the room.

We absolutely loved our stay! Chris was amazing with welcoming us at check in, love his personality! The property itself has a perfect location, you can literally see Rushmore from different seating areas/the parking lot and if you get a mountain-side room you can see it from your door! The room itself was exactly what we needed, a place to keep our stuff while we experienced the beautiful surroundings and a place to rest our eyes in between. Will most definitely stay here again with our future trips!

Only needs more parking. Other than that rooms are great and service as well. Good simple cheap option for a Rushmore and Custer State Park Visit

The hotel is in need a updating. The carpets, blankets and curtains smelled of cigarettes and mildew. Even though the room appeared to be clean the smell was difficult to overcome. The wooden doors to the outside did not give me a secure feeling. On a positive note the view from the walkway was very nice.

Area was amazing, wildlife was seen, walked to breakfast every morning. Shopping was walkable. Great location.

Good location, close to everything around Mt. Rushmore. They have coffee in the morning, A:C in the rooms. Adding some brochures od extra services they offer would be a plus in the rooms. For the rest, is very convenient for the rates.
