Very convenient location for Oak Mountain Amphitheatre. Price wasn't bad, but very much a no frills hotel with a lot of run down stuff and "unique" smells

Should change the sheets every morning. I do not know if it is a hotel or extended kind of place for people to stay for more than few days at a time. Still need to change out clean sheets and towels.

Police & Swat Team greeted us on 1st floor this morning. Got off the elevator to check out and was greeted by police who was handling whatever was happening on first floor. No one notified us to stay in rooms, no evacuation of surrounding rooms or 2nd floor. You need safety protocols for your guests. By allowing us to get off an elevator or sleep in rooms when possible gun fire is possible is COMPLETELY NOT ACCEPTABLE. Pelham Alabama Extended Stay

I was pleased with the helpfulness of the night staff.

RUDE customer service; she sat behind the door for 10 minutes to continue her phone conversation before checking us in; key never worked to let us in the main door; I had to wait for guests to let me in every time; bed felt like rocks; a/c was ridiculously loud all night

It was horrible from the check in til waking up to smoke filling the hallway fire alarm blaring

Had to wait 10-15 mins for front desk attendant to come to front desk. Hotel smelled of tobacco.

We arrived at nearly 2am to check in after a very long day, exhausting day. Walked in to find the reception desk closed with a wooden partition pulled down. There was a phone with a note on the wall that said to call a number for service. The phone on the wall didn’t work so we had to use our cell phone. The lady that answered said she would be there in 10 minutes. we waited and nearly 10 minutes later we were “greeted” by an incredibly rude lady. She went through the motions of checking us in. Gave us keys that didn’t work. We couldn’t even get into the door to the hotel, we were still in this little lobby area. She took the keys and ran them through the machine again. This time they worked. We got to our room and the keys didn’t work. We walked back to the lobby area to find she had already closed the wooden partition again. We knocked and said hello very loudly and she barely cracked the partition open. Took the keys and ran them through the machine again. Then she tried them herself on the door to the laundry room. We walked to our room a few doors down and of course our keys didn’t work again. This time she saw and she abruptly walked toward us and practically shoved me out of the way to use the master key that was around her neck. She opened the door and turned around without saying a word. I said to my friend that I hope we don’t need to leave the room and get back in. I sarcastically said to the night clerk Thank you for your assistance. Sorry you had to do your job.

Booked online and went to checkin at 8:30pm and the front desk was closed for the night… Took over an hour to get rebooked at another location
