리버티 말레(Liberty Hotel Malé)

During our stay we were bitten by bed bugs, we inspected the sheets and found the bed bugs (pictures added). It was terribly itchy so we went to the doctor that confirmed that the marks were in fact from bed bugs and prescribed a cream. We confronted the manager that was unapologetic and said that it's not his fault. He later even claimed that we brought the bed bugs ourselves, when in fact another review 8 months before, had exactly the same issue with bed bugs. He told us that the insurance would give us money and we shall send an email. (We have little hope ever hearing back from them, since the other reviewer wrote they haven't heard from the insurance yet, and we probably won't either). However the manager gave us a new room, it was located outside the main hotel, the room had only enough hot water for a 10 min shower before turning freezing cold. The walls were so thin, we woke up by the neighbors alarm at 6 am and heard every slight movement of theirs. Furthermore, we had to request for room service every day, since they forgot about it. At least the new room at wifi, which the bed bug room didn't!! (In 2024 no wifi...). Also both rooms were very dusty and outdated. Moreover, the staff was incredibly friendly and the only highlight during our stay. But unfortunately, they were completely untrained and made some major hygienic mistakes. Dirty plates from other guests were put on our table, tables were cleaned with the same sponge that the seats were cleaned with beforehand, we even saw a waiter cough into a cloth with which he proceeded to clean the cups for the guest. In fact, my mother got incredibly sick with a digestive virus with symptoms appearing on the last day of our stay. We were even told that a lot of the staff is sick and it seems there was an outbreak amongst them (ofc this is just a presumption, we can't know for sure where my mother got the infection) All this is not the waiters fault, it's the fault of the manager not properly training and supervising their staff, because they did try their best and simply didn't know better on how to do their job properly. Lastly the food was absolutely disgusting, we ate solely for the purpose of nutrition rather than pleasure. But this was mentioned in other reviews as well so I don't want to get into too much detail. But just imagine ordering a soup and receiving basically water with soup aroma added. To wrap it up, in the end we were indeed somewhat compensated (not by insurance), but I still want to write down our experience at this hotel so people are aware of what to expect.

Wow, this hotel was very good, went over Christmas, they catered for me Gluten free, the waiters Franchesco and Tudor was very good, rooms lovely and clean, bedding lovely, the only downside was no kettle in the room , all staff was very helpful, there’s a 10euro tax we had to pay

Mi sono trovato molto bene, tutti molto gentili, personale qualificato, ottimo direi, il mangiare sia pranzo che cena era ottimale, la pulizia delle camere era molto curata ed efficiente, la location è ottimale per relax e riposo, il clima è benevolo e tutti i paesaggi attorno possono essere visitati agevolmente. Da provare

Hotel meraviglioso. Personale altamente qualificato complimenti alla cucina, NOTA 10. Veramente tutto perfetto. Torneremo sicuramente.

E stato uno degli alberghi in cui mi sono trovato davvero bene,un ottima disponibilità,al centro di Malè,cibo buonissimo sicuramente ci ritornerò al più presto per altre vacanze .😍😍 Stanze ottime pulizia eccellente non ci sono difetti per questo Hotel.

Sono ormai tre anni consecutivi che soggiorniamo in questo albergo. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo, pulizia impeccabile e gentilezza da parte di tutto lo staff. Per un 3 stelle, non si può pretendere un servizio da guanti bianchi e sommelier, come ho letto in alcuni post. Un ringraziamento speciale alle signore della sala, per la pazienza nei confronti dei bambini! Purtroppo questo anno, unica pecca è stata la cucina. La critica rimane assolutamente costruttiva, affinché possa essere di aiuto al gentilissimo proprietario, per la scelta del prox chef e dei prodotti da utilizzare. Consiglio anche un menù bambini fisso, così da evitare sprechi inutili. Meglio poche cose buone, che tante non apprezzate. Torneremo con piacere.

Sono stata ospite dell'hotel liberty la prima settimana di agosto,ubicato al centro del paese dà la possibilità di muoversi liberamente.. Pessimo il servizio nella sala pranzo con camerieri improvvisati, la cena al lume di candela era con lumini da cimitero . Pessima l'organizzazione della cucina con menù adatti a bambini o malati, prodotti scadenti e surgelati.Nella mia stanza non è stato mai passato l'aspirapolvere, il bagno con vasca molto pericolosa.Delusione assoluta, sono stata ripagata solo dal paesaggio .

Non sapevo del mio arrivo in sala per la cena, non mi hanno riservato un posto a tavola, lo stesso anche per la colazione mi accomodavo dove capitava, non mi hanno mostrato il listino prezzi delle bevande (che erano a parte e non mi era stato specificato), le pietanze erano molto scadenti, la pasta e riso erano sempre scotte, molti piatti non erano nemmeno conditi, posate trovate sporche e per concludere alla fine del soggiorno al check-out mi è stato chiesto il saldo di 477 euro, il che sono saltato visto che avevo già pagato tutto all'atto della prenotazione e loro mi dicono che non risulta, che con ******* non hanno mai lavorato, poi volevano farmi firmare uno scontrino di 477euro circa, poi hanno rifatto il riconteggio e mi hanno presentato un altro scontrino da 435euro circa, e volevano che lo dovessi firmare e anche pagare, gli ho fatto vedere che avevo già pagato tutto all'atto della prenotazione anche per usufruire della notte scontata e che con ********** non ho mai avuto di questi problemi e che dovevo solo pagare quanto bevuto e la tassa di soggiorno, dopo circa una 40 di minuti si sono convinti e mi hanno presentato uno scontrino da 20euro il che ho pagato, ma continuavano a dire che avevo pagato poco che i prezzi sono più alti a loro non gli risulta etc etc. PS mi sapete dare voi una spiegazione di cosa sia successo di questo ultimo inconveniente al check-out? Il primo impatto è molto positivo per la gentilezza alla reception, ogni richiesta è stata ben soddisfatta. Tutto comodo nei servizi della camera, grande attenzione alla pulizia. Pasti ben curati e menu con varie scelte. Ottimo servizio ai tavoli, in particolare la cortesissima Anca Romania. L’albergo è situato al centro del paese ed è tutto a portata di mano… la piazza e iniziative serali a 100 metri, la stazione dei treni e degli autobus a 200 metri, le innumerevoli possibilità di passeggiate nei boschi raggiungibili prossimamente, il bel parco davanti all’Hotel… Godibilissimi i due solarium e le piscine , una interna e l’altra esterna. Il Wi-Fi funzionaperfettamente. L'auto trova ampia disponibiltà di parcheggio privato, sia esterno che al coperto. E tanto altro ancora per un piacevolissimo soggiorno di totale relax attivo.
