We stayed here for a week at the end of August to attend a wedding nearby. The hotel is on a campsite with mostly caravans and RV’s on the edge of the lake. Not a very big or modern hotel but very comfortable and immaculately clean. Everything you need in your room. Nice swimming pool with plenty of sun loungers. Quiet atmosphere good breakfast and great restaurant busy every evening with really good food. All the staff are really kind and helpful. They helped us out with a couple of lifts when we had rental car problems. Great value for money would highly recommend.

We've stayed at Kursaal quite a few times before but hadn't visited for the past five years. We were very happy to be back. The hotel has a lovely location right on the lake, it's comfortable and with a decent range of facilities (remember it is a three star). What makes it though are the staff - friendly and very helpful. Yes there is a campsite as well but this means there is enough custom for a decent restaurant service at lunch and dinner. Despite it being July, the campsite was the least occupied we have seen. It was during a heatwave and at the weekend plenty of local families came for lunch and to enjoy the pool. Again with more customers, the hotel can offer a good sized pool plus a good sized kiddies pool. Since our last visit, there are far more sun loungers provided especially looking onto the lake and on the little beach. Plus the footpath into Passignano has been improved meaning you can walk all the way in safety. A big thank you to Bruno, Carlo, Sarah, Anne and all the team for looking after us so well. We will be back.

Ou wonderful room on the second floor had a beautiful view of the lake from our patio. The staff of the hotel and restaurant were very friendly and gave us great recommendations for activities and food. We missed out on the pools, but the temperature sounded perfect. 30 C.

Excellent hotel, since we arrived the crew was very kind and welcoming. The room is big with two balconies with nice view. In the hotel is free wifi with good reception and a good breakfast. The hotel restaurant is also in very high level and very good food quality and big choice of dishes including sea food and pasta. Very good atmosphere I would to thank Bruno, the owner and manager and the rest of the staff for making my wife and my stady very pleasant and enjoyable. You will see us again.

Spent two weeks at the Hotel Kursaal due to attending a wedding in a nearby villa. The hotel staff were very friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. The location on the lake provided the perfect setting for a relaxing holiday. Breakfast was plentiful and we had dinner in the restaurant on several occasions during our stay. The evening meals were delicious and very reasonably priced. Our view of the lake from our balcony was simply stunning and our room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is a short walk from the train station which we used to explore different areas of both Tuscany and Umbria… even we navigated the rail system with ease! Overall a great holiday and will definitely return! A big thank you to Bruno and Anne (especially for the transfers to and from the train station) and of course, all the Kursaal team.

We have been here several times and keep coming back as it is in such a lovely location on Lake Trasimeno. We think Passignano is the nicest resort on the lake. The hotel has a beautiful swimming pool overlooking the lake. Also overlooking the lake is the glass-sided dining room serving ala carte or menu of the day-great traditional Italian food. It is a small family-run hotel within a small campsite. The staff are very friendly and helpful at all times. The rooms are traditionally furnished and very comfortable with good aircon and are spotlessly clean, as is the whole hotel. There are free bicycles available for cycling into the town centre or train station. You can also hire more advanced bikes for mountain trails etc. However we tended to walk as it is a pleasant 20 minute stroll into town.
