캐스웰 리조트 호텔(Caswell Resort)

The lake view is lovely, but the property is needing major upgrades. The staff are courteous.

This resort had really beautiful rooms and they were sparkling clean and well kept, i had a beautiful suite with a deck and chairs facing the water. Very quiet, only complaint for the room, is it was very cold in the room and theres no microwave, everytime my son needed a bottle i had to walk to a separate building, with no lights to see at night, across the backyard lawn to finally get a microwave in the back. The front desk doesnt open till 9am which me and other customers were lined up waiting to get our deposits back causing a big delay in our trip, we wanted to depart first thing, but we had to wait until 9am. The common areas doors were very disgusting and counters weren't clean. The pizzeria below is the best pizza on planet earth. 100% worth the price.

Property is pretty old need upgrades, rooms are comfy but not worth price paid for. It has beautiful view and lot of things to do.

Well it is a 3 star hotel So you get what you expect I was not expecting the Ritz It was clean enough but it wasn't new There is wear and tear I found it amusing that one of the hotel rules was no spitting on the furniture.. which could give a hint as what hotel owners are up against I found the mattress way too firm. I tossed and turned and woke up with sore shoulders The upside is there is a small deck at the rear overlooking the lake and there are barbecues and a play area for kids so it may be great for a day stay with the family

The property is older but seemed well maintained. I couldn't figure out how to get the heat to turn on, so I just wore my jacket. Overall, nice place. I would stay again.

Beautiful location but property is lacking TLC. Price for what you get is way too high. Owner/staff was condescending and unwilling to compromise. Booking through ******* and declaring 2 pets, we were given a price for the 1 night stay but upon checking charged an extra $60 for the 2 pets. An already way overpriced 1 night stay became outrageous. Upon checkin, we were and hour early to the already insanely late 4pm checkin time and were told checkin wasn’t until 4, yet the cabin was ready for occupancy! They were going to make us wait an hour to get into it even though it was ready. You pay premium rates for waterfront but can’t get to it until 4 then have to leave by 11am! I’ll never come back here. Caswell use to be a posh establishment…. Not anymore!

Simple dwellings. Good for a quick stay. Clean. We loved the morning view.

We didn’t even stay the night. Brutal. The photos are not recent. There are also people living in the hotel. Beyond the filth, it did not feel safe. Also, as a single female traveller, I did not appreciate being asked if I was travelling alone. Go to Huntsville to sleep, don’t stop here!!!!

Quaint place for a weekend getaway, no frills cabins, directly on the beautiful lake (canoes and paddleboats included).
