Hotel Rincón del Montero

Went to the Restaurant La Calandria and expected the food as the picture they show in their menu. It was disappointing! Took an hour to give us our food, it was poorly served and the Queso Fundido was burnt. You can compare below the cheese from the menu vs. what they brought.

Overrated, is not that cool they asked us for $550 MXN per night for my son and is not food or drinks included. They have tennis court and nice garden tho. But the rooms are not good to be honest. The air condition from my room did not work the screen is small they don’t give you snacks or something in the room. Basically the room is not worth it but the common stays like garden, pool, restaurant are good.

My room faced a side of the garden in which not much light came in, so it was very dark. Nevertheless, the bed was comfortable and the room clean. Staff was super helpful, and as for the restaurant I suppose that better food was expected from the hotel. The pool area is super nice.

Quaint, clean, peaceful and relaxing. Visited during winter months but I imagine it would be better in the summer. The hotel is close to town but still outside the city limits. You must visit the town, it has maintained the colonial atmosphere yet has great restaurants and artisan good from sweets to clothes. Lots of wine too as the town is renowned for its wine making.

Es mi tercera a Rincón del Montero y muy tristemente, las habitaciones ahora está sucias, con cucarachas, los cojines manchados, en Recepción muy poco ayudaron, no es un hotel en lo absoluto económico para ofrecer estas deplorables condiciones, no volveré una cuarta vez, que triste porque era un muy agradable hotel.

El hotel está en remodelación y luce descuidado o abandonado en algunas zonas. Un hotel ruidoso hacen trabajos de mantenimiento por las mañanas que no deja descansar. Los alimentos son muy malos y caros, para desayuno solo tienen opción de bufete con muy poca variedad y lo poco que hay es de mala calidad.

No respetan las políticas de cancelación. NO te devuelven tu dinero, solo te dicen que lo van a checar y le tiran la bolita al área contable atendida por Guadalupe Gamez. El sr. Ignacio Martin gerente del lugar tampoco da un seguimiento profesional. Llevo 5 meses solicitando mi reembolso y mismos que me dan largas.

Excelente viaje todo muy bien, precioso lugar, la gente muy amable, fue muy padre lugar visitamos viñedos y todo estuvo perfecto La comida muy rica y muy cerca de Monterrey lea recomiendo que visiten rincon del montero Muchas gracias a todos

Pésima atención de parte del área de reservas te mal informan y luego te cancelan a menos de una semana del viaje, aún y contando con código de reservación. Decepcionada ya que se supones es uno de los mejores hoteles del lugar y era la primera vez que iba.
