Exceptional service! Entire staff went above and beyond to make our stay was one that we will never forget! The food was gourmet and delicious and the spa was top notch. Great location with east access to downtown Paro. Already trying to figure out when we can go back!

Beautiful facility that sent us into instant relaxation and comfort. The kind and attentive staff who went out of their way to offer whatever made us most comfortable and at home. Rooms were decorated and set out with the ou**ost care. Beautiful views, incredible food, and unparallelled comfort. We enjoyed sitting on the deck to take in the mountains, the giant bathtub, and the wonderful spa. The perfect home and landing space for our Bhutan explorations.

We went on a yoga retreat and stayed three nights at the Bhutan Spirit Sanctuary - it was absolutely phenomenal! The rooms, the dining spces, the food, the staff - 10 stars out of 5. I really cannot say enough about how welcoming, accommodating, friendly; they treated us like respected and adored family. This location was (other than climbing to Tiger's nest) the absolute highlight of our long journey. The heated bathroom floors, the shower, our own outdoor space, the spa services... seriously - amazing. Thank you all for making our trip so perfect.

Excellent service, food and comfort. The view from my room was fabulous. I enjoyed speedy coffee delivery to my room and relaxing Kunye massages.The yoga room was perfect for our large group.The meals were delicious and beautifully presented in many courses.

True to its name, Bhutan Spirit Sanctuary is indeed a sanctuary; a paradise of wellness . We were sincerely and courteously received by Mr. Mohan/ Chunku and their team with traditional Tashi Khaddar, a white scarf of auspiciousness. Making our way into the sanctuary we lit butter lamp leaving us spiritually uplifted. Our accommodation was upgraded to the Terrace room, which was beautifully appointed with direct access to the spacious lawn that offered a breathtaking view of the valley below. The consultation with the traditional doctor turned out to be a pleasant surprise, leaving a lasting impression on us. Before dinner, we indulged in the rejuvenating Ku-Nye massage, which proved to be incredibly soothing. The culinary experience at the sanctuary was nothing short of exceptional. The food offered was not only sophisticated but also truly phenomenal in taste and presentation. One of the standout features was their Tea bar, a unique concept that delighted us. At the Tea bar, we had the pleasure of sampling a variety of locally brewed teas, each offering its own distinct and delightful flavors. It was a refreshing and enriching experience, adding an extra layer of enjoyment to our time at the sanctuary. Bhutan Spirit Sanctuary truly lived up to its name as a sanctuary of wellness and tranquility.

I wish more people knew about this place! This is a fantastic new property designed with Bhutanese architecture in mind and offers amazing vistas. We didn't stay there overnight but absolutely enjoyed the spa and dining on a day trip. Paro is known for its hot stone baths and this is the place to get one if you want the most luxurious, hygienic and pampering hot stone bath trea**ent coupled with massages. The spa is headed by Dr. Kelzang Dorji who's trained in ******* holistic medicine -- the hot oil compression trea**ent is a must!

We stayed at the bhutan spirit sanctuary as a family with 2 kids for 4 nights and 5 days The experience here is beyond your imagination The package is all inclusive..the breakfast, lunch and dinner that was served was extremely delicious and filling..the chef takes u**ost care to suit your needs and taste. Inspite of the wonderful menu they also offered to make some kid friendly menu as well The wellness Centre is something that the hotel must be proud of..the doctor was very knowledgeable and suggested trea**ents for us along with delicious herbal teas. The massage, moxibustion and the hot stone bath ..everything was amazing and helped us to relax completely after a long day The kids enjoyed archery, pottery and darts..the pool is also very nicely maintained and good length Our guide sonam and our driver kincho were super knowledgeable and very caring. They took care of the smallest of our needs during our day trips The hotel offered us an extra room completely free of cost just because they could not offer us an extra bed Over all the the entire staff does everything and above to satisfy their costumers. If you ever come to Bhutan, this is the place to stay, don't look anywhere else

I booked this trip at the very last minute (less than a week before arrival) because I really needed a reset. And boy did I pick the right place! Despite my admittedly reckless scheduling, Anouk was incredibly helpful connecting me with a local travel agency, and they helped arrange my visa and flights in a matter of days. On arrival, the staff was lined up to greet me, and from that point on I felt part of the family. Every need was taken care of, and the staff must have kept good notes because all of my preferences were remembered at every meal. I asked for the fire pit on the deck to be lit one night after sunset, and each time I came to the common room after that evening, it was immediately lit without my asking. I just wish I could have spent more time there... but I rest happy knowing that I most definitely will. And I am excited to bring my spouse and close friends next time.

Due to Covid and other medical issues, we waited almost 4 years for our trip to Bhutan. We chose to stay at the Bhutan Spirit Sanctuary, and I have to say, it totally surpassed all our expectations, it was truly magical. The location, the views, the hotel, the food and the staff were all perfect! In addition, the hotel has a strong emphasis on sustainability and is totally plastic free. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel so welcome in its world of peace and tranquility. If you are looking for an unforgettable experience, where nothing is too much trouble for the staff, I would strongly recommend that you stay there for an unforgettably good experience. Without doubt, one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in!
