호텔 드 바렌(Hotel de Varenne)

Beautiful boutique hotel w large rooms and bathrooms. The courtyard entrance is lovely with outdoor seating, plants etc. The staff is clearly devoted. The continental breakfast is very good with plenty to eat. The hotel is walkable to the metro (just around the corner). It is about one block from the Rodin Museum and is considered the embassy district (Swiss embassy around the corner). We either walked or utilized the metro. Only once did we use an Uber as it was late and we were tired. The staff gave excellent recommendations for nice evening meals and restaurants within walking distance. I feel fortunate to have been able to book this hotel as I’m sure it fills up quickly. I loved that we were not in a touristy area but could still get where we wanted very easily.

This was an older property but well kept and the staff was very accommodating and nice. It didn’t have many amenities and average cleanliness in rooms.

A cozy place, very quiet location away from the city crowds and noise. Inside, the building is pretty old. Neighborhood of public (historic) buildings, so a bit "boring", just around the corner from Musee Rodin.

Hotel de Varenne is a cute bed and breakfast, with a very friendly staff. It was my first time staying there. Our room had two twin beds, as per my request, and it was extremely small. Bathroom was updated, but had mold in the ceiling. Room cleaning was OK. Water glasses were never washed or replaced. Breakfast was very simple, coffee, basket of breads, butter and jam, yogurt. For American standards that would not be considered a 4-star Hotel, but a 3-star Bed and Breakfast.

Personnel très sympathique sauf l’employé qui a effectué notre enregistrements. Très catégorique et sans sentiment et s’emmêle les pinceaux en demandant les cartes de crédit de celui qui a réservé, je lui donne ma carte et ne l’accepte pas car j’ai réservé avec le nom de mon mari. Literie confortable, chambre petite, propre,petit déjeuner pas top. Que de la confiture et viennoiseries. Un peu de baguette, bonjour les dégâts pour mon mari diabétique. On paie 4 euros en plus pour 3 petits morceaux de fromage. Et pas de lait sans lactose, faut penser aux allergènes.

The hotel is not a 4 star hotel but what really disappointed me was that even though I made a mistake when. I made the reservation with a not a good manner I was told I had to make the sofa bed because they did not have staff In the other room , I had two rooms , the same I dad to wait for the bed and dress the bed I was placed outside the hotel literally next to the street I have to say that two persons the gentlemen in the morning and the lady that help with the breakfast were very nice Breakfast very very poor

Hotel razoável, com boa localização, próximo de Inválidos! Staff educado. O café da manhã é o maior problema. Oferecem pão, pain au chocolat e croissant, com manteiga, geleias, 1 suco, 1 iogurte e cafe com leite. Realmente deixa bastante a desejar, pois nao compensa pelo preço cobrado!!

Room interior is not updated Toilet didn’t flush well. When cleaning lady forgot to leave toilet paper and we ask more front desk lady thinks we stole toilet paper. Terrible experience! Heater sounds so loud couldn’t sleep!!!
