I am tempted to keep this to myself, but on the other hand: the hotel and its owners and staff deserve to hear what a wonderful place this is and how much we enjoyed staying here. I stayed here for 4 nights with my husband. For our last seven visits to Paris, we've been staying at Hoxton, but this time wanted to try something else. We love Paris and big cities and, when at home, live in the heart of Copenhagen, but we really do love a quiet room to retreat to after being out and about. We booked the junior suite with terrasse, and well, it is the biggest and most quiet room I've ever stayed in in Paris. Beautifully decorated, lots of space, big bed, large sofa and table, very big terrasse overlooking the back of the building (the view is rooftops and houses) -- that will be awesome when we come back in summer... large bathroom with tub and shower and two sinks, with entrance to terrasse as well. Small kitchenette with micro wave, Nespresso machine and kettle, cleverly hidden in a closet. Air condition/heater super quiet, in fact, we could not hear it at all. The pictures on the website really do not do this room justice. We had a private spa hour included, which we booked for our first morning, and it was a true luxury to have that all to ourselves and start the day with a swim and sauna in the most beautiful spa room. The pool is rather narrow, so it would be awkward to be more people in it... so I think that it is a very good idea to privatize it for guests, two at a time. We also had breakfast included which was a bread basket, a hot drink, a fruit juice, fruit salad and yoghurt. Eggs could be ordered but was not included. The coffee was a little boring, but the croissants were perfect and just as they should be. After a few days, I longed for some cheese or eggs -- just something that was not sweet. But that is a minor thing and after all, I could just have ordered something. Location is great - quiet street, but we were able to walk to most of the restaurants on our list, and only took the metro a couple of times during our visit (but, have to say, that we love to walk and did not walk less than 15 kilometers per day during our stay). Pretty easy to get to hotel from airport - metro just up at Place Clichy to Chapelle, then walk to Gare du Nord for the RER B to CDG or ORY, could not be easier (if the trains are running, that is. A left piece of luggage on a station meant cancelled trains which slowed us a bit, otherwise it would not take more than an hour). Minor things / room for improvement: It would be nice to have some sort of hotel directory in the room (info about spa, breakfast, checkout times etc). Maybe something not sweet at breakfast... The light in room needed a key card to be inserted. Unfortunately, the light in the kitchen closet did not switch off, so you had a bit of light during the night unless you took the key card out -- but then there was no light should you need the bathroom at night. I am sure it is easy t
