르네상스 파리 방돔 호텔(Renaissance Paris Vendome Hotel)

酒店就在凡多姆廣場旁邊，位置非常好，我們步行去所有的景點。早起還可以去杜麗特夫人公園跑步，走路到盧浮宮五分鐘。酒店房間在巴黎算是大的，套房一家四口夠住。唯一要注意就是因為地點，所以周邊消費非常高，如果到左岸去消費會實惠很多。

This hotel is not a 5 star hotel. It is more like a 3 star hotel. The prestige king room we had was 2 twin beds pushed together. Except 1 was 6 inches higher then the other so you caved in the middle. The hotel room was not cleaned in our 3 day stay except the bed was made after complaining when we returned to our room at 4 pm. I have elite status so they put a box of complimentary chocolates in our room with an expiration date of 2 weeks earlier. When I asked the front desk about it. They sent an email saying that it is only a recommended expiration date and it is not a problem to eat it. No comment on how silly that is! Tried to have breakfast at the hotel but the coffee was horrible. Who has bad coffee in Paris! The turn down service is a person coming to the door at 9 pm and handing you a tiny chocolate. Really! DO NOT STAY HERE! So many better hotels in Paris!

This was our third stay at this hotel over a period of several years and I posted a very positive review in 2014. Oh, how things have changed here! I begin with the most serious of the offenses and indignities we suffered during our 5-night stay. I was entrapped in the hotel's elevator for a period of 10-15 minutes before the staff registered any response to the emergency alarm bell or my pounding on the elevator door. When a maintenance employee finally arrived, he said that the alarm bell notified the off-premises elevator service company rather than the hotel itself. I knew this was not accurate as I could clearly hear the alarm when I repeatedly pressed it. When I was finally liberated from the elevator and spoke with the on-duty manager, he apologized and said he had been in the "back office" and had not heard the alarm. The general manager of the hotel also stated that she regretted the "inconvenience." I think this event qualified substantially above the level of "inconvenience" and the manager's proffer of a fractional portion of the substantial Marriott points I had used for my stay was wholly inadequate for the life-threatening emergency that could well have been the case. In addition to this incident, we experienced an appalling indifference and lack of basic service from the staff of the hotel, including (1) absence of a bellman to assist with our bags upon arrival at the hotel by taxi ,(2) failure to deliver an additional luggage rack to the room following request of the bellman, (3) failure of housekeeping staff to make up the room for a period of two hours and after three requests when we inadvertently left the French-language "do not disturb" sign on our door, (4) failure to respond to three or more requests for towels that had not been left by the housekeeper, and (5) recommendation by the newest and least-experienced junior concierge of an Asian restaurant that displayed a "closed" sign when we arrived and where no employees spoke English or could provide an English-language menu. (In fact, with regard to the restaurant, the chief concierge told us the next day that she had "never heard of it.") We chose this hotel because we had previously had positive experiences, notwithstanding the fact that the rooms are extremely small (even with our upgrade from a "cubby hole" to a "shoebox-sized" room). The hotel's common area is beautifully decorated and the rooms are well-appointed despite their size. The problem with this hotel boils down to indifferent management and that is really a shame. It could be so much more!

This hotel needs so much, where to begin. The price if $500+ per night should be closer to $150. Checkin occurred at a table with a laptop, not at a classy reception area. The restaurant is closed and they have no bar - again it is billed as a full service hotel and it is not. The carpet in the hallways are filthy - spotted. As for the room - it smelled and couldn’t have been noisier. The price this hotel charges is outrageous for what you get.

Crapy Hotel, the rooms Were super expensive and the air conditioning did not work, the food in the dinning area was poor and the area really really small, can’t accommodate the guests.

Me and my wife booked this hotel for a week. The hotel is newly renovated and very clean.The location is excellent but the service is horrible. First we had to change rooms because next door to us there was a family with kids that would scream in the hallway until late at night and very early in the morning ( this is our first vacation away from our kids so we definitely didn’t want the screaming). After moving the TV in the new room was not working properly we asked three times to have it fixed and so far nothing has been done. Also, the turn down service is a hit or miss. Sometimes you get it .. sometimes you don’t… not what you expect for a 5 star hotel in the price range of this one.

This is a lovely hotel and the staff goes beyond expectations to make your stay more comfortable. My room wasn’t ready when I arrived. I was exhausted from my overnight flight and a horrendous delay at the airport where I had to stand in a crowd of people to get through customs for around one hour. I was so disappointed and mentioned that I wanted to take a shower so badly. I was offered use of one the showers in their spa. I had my own 2 room bathroom suit where I was able to open my suitcase, shower in privacy, and use a vanity. I felt like a new person! After my sister arrived that afternoon, they sent us a complimentary bottle of wine to thank her for returning. The room was small, but it was so comfortable and it overlooked a courtyard. The adjoining restaurant was perfect for breakfast, and the lobby was cozy enough to have drinks, after dinner. And, of course, the location is perfect. We were blocks away from Place Vendome which was beautifully decked out for Christmas.
