그랜드 리버 호텔(Grand River Hotel)

Adding in a $14 “parking fee” is a rip off and feels like a way for them to get reservations because of the inexpensive rate, but then add in $14 when you arrive. Still was a fine stay though, no complaints besides the parking fee.

Room was clean and comfortable. We ate at the restaurant and it wasn’t great. Somehow both burnt and undercooked.

there are a couple things to note here. The first is the exceptional staff - the men I talked to about staying there the night I got there were great, and very helpful! I have a few inconveniences which is causing me to rate this property 3 stars. First, the price was advertised as $58 on ******* with free breakfast. Breakfast is not in fact free and costs $14.95. This wasn't an issue for me since I was going to be leaving to get coffee and food at the coffee shop across the street anyways but it's misleading to those who would partake in breakfast. Second, the parking is $14!! it seems a little weird to charge for parking, especially in a place with literally zero people. This also makes the price of $58 for the night i was staying misleading because it's actually $72. Something to think about (apparently, most/all the hotels in Parachute, CO seem to charge for parking. Go figure.) Third and finally, the state of the room was totally fine, except one of the bath towels had a lot of stains (presumably makeup stains). I'm used to seeing these sorts of stains since my fiance sometimes uses a towel to take makeup off, but in a hotel, it makes it appear as if they didn't clean the towel. For the record, all the other towels (three of the four bath towels, both hand towels and both wash clothes) were stain free. I suppose if i hadn't picked the one bath towel i did, I would not have noticed it. Seems like something that should be noted!

Didn’t get room that was booked. Other room very small. Hide a bed couch to big to fold out espically for a handicap person

The front desk staff was great. So nice. The room was great too…very comfortable. My only complaint is the parking fee. It needs to go away.

Liked everything but this morning i wSnt sure if there was any food out so i just fed my kids in the room. Nothing looked ready or anything in the breakfast room. So that was a bummer but it all worked out well

Advertised at $52 a night at booking per night for a room with two queen beds for two guests. Charged $14 a night for parking for a mostly empty parking lot, icy and unsafe to walk on. Was then charged a $10 a night for additional guest. Breakfast was $14.95 a person-didn’t eat there at all, exercise room had to be accessed from a front desk associate, door key didn’t work.

It was all very good! This is a very nice place to stay! You just gotta ask them not to charge you for parking. Simple as that. Great room, friendly clerk.

The hotel is clean, staff is friendly. Bed is hard as a rock and uncomfortable. This hotel charges a $14 parking fee, like your in Denver, but your in Parachute. The breakfast is unimpressive, especially since they want to charge $15. Don't eat there go over to the Funk Bear Bistro
