Room is adequately furnished, but lighting is very poor (especially in the kitchen). Very limited kitchen utensils, cookware and silverware, Had to buy paper towels in hotel store for $5.00 (this should be provided). Reading lamp on couch was missing. One side of bedroom had poor internet access. Room location was very far from elevator. Pool area was well furnished with chairs and upkeep.

Very nice place that I would return to but the water supply to the shower in our room stopped for over 24 hours. We asked for a new place to take a shower and the response was far too slow to allow for showering prior to leaving for the airport. Not pleasant after swimming in the ocean the day before. No offer of any sort to make up for the issue. The location was very good. If it weren't for the poor service, I would give the hotel a 4.5 / 5.0.

Maid service was terrible. Had to call 2 times for wash cloth and hand towels. Had to chase maid down to get bath towels.

The Eagle Aruba was was a great place to stay! They attended to our room daily with new towels and emptying garbage daily which is a little unusual these days. It is close to the beach (walkable), the staff is amazing and very friendly and helpful! It was easy to catch a cab at the resort -the staff will call for it for you! One special shout out to Edith who was awesome when I had a problem with an ATM machine and had to go to the bank in Aruba! She is a gem!

The rooms are spacious and the cleaning staff so great! The bar tenders are extremely slow. They take one at a time and serve slowly, especially at two for one time. The pools are clean. The other bad thing is that in order to get a chair poolside or a palapa at the beach you have to go out at 5:30 am, in the dark, and request one. Then it is still a problem because there aren't enough. You can't go out at 7 and expect a palapa. You won't get one. And chairs are left empty for HOURS!

We were impressed by the cleanliness of the room, and the pools side washrooms. The kitchenette & appliances were also spotless. It seems the room was recently renovated, and renos were ongoing in others. Our room was very quiet, even though our door was on the side next to the boulevard. With the door closed we couldn't hear the road. Our balcony faced the family pool, and was quite quiet, except for the occasional children's noises - to be expected. If you want quiet, avoid rooms with balconies over the adult pool as that is where the entertainment happens. The location is also very good - near restaurants, beach, and a supermarket with a liquor store across the boulevard. The ****** is gone, but there is a small one next door.

Eagle Aruba Resort is truly a wonderful resort. We had an issue with our room that was resolved by its friendly & courteous staff. From Joshua, Sebastian and Richard and the entire staff made an impressionist statement of professionalism outstanding service to enhance our stay. The rooms are spacious, laid out very well with a very nice equipped kitchen. The amenities like the grounds are excellent with beautiful pools and very impressive clean barbeques. Uncle Tony’s pizza is always ready to assist with great food and bar service. We have been coming to Aruba for many years and we now stay in Aruba for a month, staying at many different places. Eagle Aruba Resort will be the first on our list, if you encounter a problem the entire staff will do their best to make it right for you, making the experience one that far surpasses all expectations. We awoke every morning to the view of towels covering virtually every chair near the expansive pool area. After a few days, we were told by people that had been to the resort for decades that to get a chair, you have to put your pool towel on it by 6 a.m. For the pool with the waterfall, its 4 a.m. Meanwhile, the chairs stay empty most of the day. The hotel seems to only care if you leave a towel hanging over your balcony, not hanging over a chair you don't use for most of the day. The building we stayed in was showing its age. It was the one that backed to the roadway. Heating/cooling system was not working properly and maintenance was unsuccessful in fixing it. They came once, couldn't fix the problem and said they'd come back - they never did. I was able to adjust the settings, setting the fan to manual versus auto mode (something they don't want you to do as it can cause mold buildup). The TVs are quite small and the local cable can't display on a full screen. The pull out sofa was lumpy. The first day at Tony's Pizza, poolside, tried to order pizza and was told they didn't have any. Maybe a rename is in order. For what I paid, this was not great value for the money.
