Ajul Luxury Hotel & Spa Resort, a Registry Collection Hotel

So devastated that this holiday didnt go as planned. 2 days before we were due to fly to greece, they contacted us and advised that they didn't open until 2 days after our arrival. The back-up hotel they arranged was then changed 3 times. It was extremely stressful and we were almost convinced that we wouldnt have a hotel to stay in at all. When we finally got to the hotel, it was horrendous. The staff were running around not knowing what they were doing and 90% of the advertised amenities were unavailable for our entire stay. It was very disorganised and certainly didnt provide the calm break we had anticipated when booking. We also booked a room with a private pool which were unable to use due to the pump and filtration not working, this may not have been a problem however it hadnt been cleaned and there was a worm at the bottom for our entire stay. Also, one of the men working to fix the pumps kept taking pictures of me whilst I was sunbathing. Out of the 2 restaurants that were supposed to be open, there was only one. The food being served was atrocious and not labelled at all, so you not only didnt know what you were being offered to eat, but allergies were impossible to cater for.

I’m sure the resort will be great once the work is finished. With the construction area making a lot of noice for the past few days, it is not really what you could call a relaxing Holliday. The continuous ‘beep beep’ of the machines driving next to our room and the drills are not the best sound to get a nap or read a book. A lot of details still need to be fine-tuned. The view is great when taking a walk and I’m sure in a few weeks the comments will be better. But for the moment I would avoid it.

Hotel and facilities are brand new. Everything you might expect is right there. Staff is very friendly & polite. There is a private beach very close to the hotel. Sunset view is really gorgeous. We had very relaxing vacations. Thank you Ajul!

I’ve been in the magical hands of Respina. I recommend this divine expérience to everyone. My daughter was also delighted of having her first trea**ent here as a teenager; also with Respina who is very kind and gentle. Special mention to thé wonderful Space 👌

Arriving to the Ajul was literally a slice of heaven. Staff worked so hard, you could see this because there was care & attention to every detail. All so helpful, kind and welcoming. The hotel itself was beautiful, bliss, peaceful, I cannot recommend this place enough. Food was brilliant, cocktails delicious, location relaxing, ideal for a couples, or friends break!

I normally don't bother with writing reviews but I felt this hotel has received some unfair poor reviews. There are only a few things that are required to make this an outstanding review. The first is the food. The quality is very good but there are no freshly made eggs for breakfast and sometimes the food can be cold. This seems like it could easily be fixed. With a dedicated egg station at breakfast and some covers for the food to keep it warmer for longer and to reduce the number of flies. The location is remote but is only a 15 euro taxi to the nearest busy location Pefkochori beach. Which is very reasonable. Now for the positives: Beautiful pool and sunbeds. There is top quality furniture everywhere. Hotel is excellent and I could sitting watching the sunset here every night! Excellent staff. Front desk are very helpful and the 2 people behind the bar at ananas are absolutely brilliant. They work so hard ever and really produce 1st class cocktails. Also I received the same quality service regardless of whether I chose to tip or not which actually made me want to tip more! Drinks! I have stayed at quite a few European 5* all inclusive and this is by far the best. Top tier alcohol and branded cans of cold drinks are available in abundance. No local alcohol that tastes like petrol. This is of a similar quality of drinks you received in the Caribbean at a far more reasonable price and obviously less travel time. I have to be honest whilst I’m not a big drinker this was the best part of the holiday! Restaurants there are 3 visits included for a 7 day stay and it is excellent with a good variety of options included with the all inclusive. Overall this place is excellent and deserves a 5* review.

Very nice located property with amazing spa facilities. The massage was really relaxing and professional by Savas!! Breakfast has so many choices and dinner also. The staff was very polite and helpful. There are so many activities to do. Thank you for the hospitality!

We absolutely loved our stay and the only disappoin**ent was that I only booked for one week. Was excited when I booked this but this then got knocked a bit when I saw some of the reviews. All I can say is that my expectations were met and exceeded. As others have noted, the journey from the airport is quite lengthy. We booked a private transfer with ‘Lion Transfer’ (recommended) and this took 1.5hrs. The hotel is isolated which is what we wanted, so all good’. The hotel is stunning. Check-in was very easy and the lady on the desk was lovely and welcoming. We were then driven to our room in a golf-buggy and the young lad explained the set-up. Absolutely fantastic room, very tastefully decorated with a good sized balcony which had a great view over the pools, grounds and the sea. The bed was huge and so comfortable, that and the blackout curtains led to us missing breakfast on a few occasions (very unlike us). The quality of the food was very good and there was always a wide variety for us both (meat eater and vegetarian). This was by far the best food I have experienced at an all-inclusive hotel. We booked at the Italian one night (after some great work from the lady on reception). Wife said that the Salmon was one of the best she has ever had. My chicken was nice but nothing special. There was a limited choice as some dishes must have sold out or shortage on delivery. There was a bit of tension in the air with some customers expressing their disappoin**ent (quite strongly on some occasions) and you could see the staff were doing their best. It didn’t bother us at all and we had a nice evening regardless. Overall, the staff were very helpful and polite. A couple of grumblings from one or two particularly from one on the first night to the other staff, but didn’t see him again after that. Extra credits to the young, dark-haired lady at the infinity bar (always smiling), the two at the cocktail bar in the evening (very professional and awesome cocktails), to the young lady that runs the snack bar by the main pool, very friendly and helpful on all occasions (pizza was delicious and a nice choice of ice-creams), the reception desk lady and to George who was brilliant in provided first-aid to my wife after a tumble just before we were leaving (no alcohol involved either). Absolutely brilliant all round. *So sorry I couldn’t remember individual names. Great selection of drinks and a lot of premium brands available. We enjoyed working our way through the cocktail list and trying some new drinks. Spent one day at the pebble beach with snack hut, which was really relaxing and the shuttle bus back was appreciated (walked down but didn’t fancy walking back up the steep hill). We walked to the nearest village and back one day which took about a leisurely 45mins each way, lovely little beachfront with nice restaurants (recommend OPA). Overall, although there were a few minor teething issues which will be resolved the longer it is up and running, we absolut
