부티크 호텔 퀸타 차나브날(Hotel Boutique Quinta Chanabnal)

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. It's a unique property, with the Mayan architecture and location in what feels like the jungle. The rooms are spacious (we were three people, so had an extra bed brought in for $40 per night). The pool is beautiful. My wife had a back massage in the spa area and loved it. We heard all types of birds, and saw and heard the various howler monkeys which was really cool (one morning they were very loud, but this seems unusual). The location is good, as it's between the city and the ruins. We had dinner once at the hotel (decent, but glad on the other night we went into Palenque). The breakfasts were good (we had the continental breakfast with yogurt, granola and sweet breads).

Beautiful hotel. 8 rooms on extensive and lush grounds. Excellent service. Pool and pond areas are pretty. The rooms are spacious (we had a suite) and everything is very tasteful- above and beyond on the design. Our room was up to date and in top shape, everything worked, and the cleaning staff was excellent. Walking distance to a couple of nice restaurants.

The service was phenomenal, the food was first rate, the room was incredibly clean. My wife got ill and they immediately contacted a physician at our request who arrived shortly to attend to her. I would stay there over and over again and refer to my friends.

We were very happy with the accommodations here! The manager and all the staff went over and above to make our experience special. The hotel is very beautiful with lovely art throughout. The pool was great; such a treat after a long day exploring the fabulous Palenque ruins. We saw monkeys and lizards and other cool wildlife as we swam. Our room was wonderful. Cool and comfortable with a great shower. We really appreciated the complimentary beverages in the mini bar every day. All of our meals in the restaurant were delicious (I’m still thinking about the fruit plate they serve at breakfast!) and the waiters were really nice. We had to catch a very early flight the day we left, too early to have breakfast in the restaurant, so the manager arranged for us to have a bag lunch to take with us, which I thought was very kind.

Great location for the Palenque ruins and communication for organising tours was excellent. The design of the hotel is in-keeping with the Mayan culture that you’re here to see. However it feels a little run-down. It was also a shame that the jungle setting couldn’t be seen from the room or from the dining area.

This was my third visit to Quinta Chanabnal and we stayed for 6 days to fully appreciate the local Mayan ruins and this lovely hotel. As before, we were not disappointed in our stay or the surroundings. It's a wonderful setting and we especially enjoyed sitting by the pool every afternoon and watching the iguanas, macaws, and the howler monkeys. All of the staff are amazing, the two managers Daniel and Carlos see to all your requests and Michael our evening waiter treated us very well. The rooms are fantastic and large and there's plenty of space everywhere to feel as though you own the place. It's heavenly...

This hotel is a little bit tired but the staff were really friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent and dinner was OK too, even though the restaurant lacked a bit of ambiance due to the lack of other guests in an otherwise beautiful setting. The pool and lake area are pretty but tired and not maintained to the highest standard. Overall this hotel is very good and the proximity to wildlife was excellent.

This is a small boutique hotel with a big and beautifull garden with a lake. In and around the lake you can spot a little bit of wildlife and during the afternoon you hear the howling monkeys in the distance. We even spotted one in the garden. The staff is super friendly and always more than happy to help! Perfect stay!

The moment we arrived a tropical downpour began. But that did not prevent staff helping us from the car and taking bags to the room. And it all got better with an excellent dinner at their restaurant, thoroughly recommended. Very comfortable and well appointed room. But the common areas, the magnificent dining room, the grounds, howler monkeys, lake and bathing pools, they are worth the visit. We booked for three nights, stayed an extra night as it was so relaxing and pleasant. We appreciated the owner Rafael introducing himself and ensuring all was well. And the Quinta is conveniently out of town and on the way to the ruins.
