Love this place but my want to think of place for pet owners a place for poo bags. I didn’t see any place during our stay

What a great find! Cute old school motel, well maintained and convenient. Very quiet. I'd definitely stay here again. Bonus: record players in each room and a huge selection of records at the front desk!

Perfect spot for the night. Nice rooms w record player & records in the lobby! Would def return, great value!

Location was nice, quick walk to the beach and restaurants. Rooms a little outdated. Safe was great! Liked the keyless entry option.

There's retro....and then there's just old and poorly maintained. ALL the fixtures in the bathroom need recaulking; the caulk is so old it's disintegrating. The faucet leaks around the base. The toilet seat is chipped and too small for a child. The shower knob is so tight it took two people to turn it on. The outlets don't work. The chair is not at all comfortable. There is NO temperature control. There is NO privacy. Most places give you 3-4 pillows, even for a double bed - not just 2 that are older than my grandmother and thinner than a sheet of cardboard. The fridge keeps nothing cold. There is no possible way for more than one person to see the TV. The staff are not present and do not care if the guests are happy or not. Also, you can EITHER be high tech with a code for the door (which randomly locked and unlocked) OR you can be retro with actual keys. You cannot have both. And from the pictures, this place looks like it's on the beach. It’s not.

Wonderfully unique experience, we loved our stay and would definitely stay again. Really liked the little added touches including area recommendations, keyless entry, ability to borrow records and sleep sounds machine. Owners are fabulous and we loved being greeted by the adorable Goofy #cutestpup

Great Location, Quiet, Old yet kept up. No frills but comfortable! We would return in a heart beat..

We were very happy with our stay, the place is an older hotel however it is super clean and the staff is extremely nice and helpful. I had a very important delivery for my son'e wedding. They kept an eye out for it and as soon as it arrived they text me. So sweet, we would definetly stay again. I have no complaints at all.

The name surf and sand applies that you are staying at a hotel on the surf and sand. This hotel was in the middle of town about a mile from the beach on a busy road which was very loud. The price of the hotel was expensive for the location. We have been going up the Oregon coast for the last week and staying at little places off the beach. This was the most costly. With no breakfast. But, the room was very, very clean and comfortable with plenty of towels. And the front desk person was very polite and helpful.
