Karya Family Resort – All Inclusive

This was our first time at Hotel Karya as a family of 5, 2 adults and 3 children (6 and 9 years old) We arrived late in the evening and were shown where we could have dinner and there were bags waiting for us in the lobby, we were shown to our room which had a great view, The rooms are clean, our room was cleaned every day I would recommend going before or after the season as the hotel can get busy , Food is always freshly prepared, lots of choice, Mostly good Turkish food, salads and a lot of different puddings, Food is available almost all day long! 5 different swimming pools, including 2 with slides for larger and smaller children, 2 private rooms to choose from, The animation team and bar staff are great! We made many friends during our stay and will return next year! A big, big thank you to the entertainment team (Carlos, Dani, Mario, Angel, Pelin and the rest of Crew !

We went on holiday to this hotel in may school break and absolutely loved it . Staff were amazing at reception Ayşegül, Sevda, and Cem were so helpful. At the bar, Muhhamet, Adem, and his team were fantastic. Restaurant staff were really good as well, very attentive and cheerful. The food was so tasty and lots of different varieties. One of the outstanding factors was entertainment, which was absolutely great. Carlos and his team were superb starting with dart or pool games throughout the afternoon than in the evening kids disco followed by either dance show or games. I do think that i have to mention lifeguards as well at the pool side. My six year old son had a bit of difficulty, and one off the lifeguard, Ali was superb and helpful. We loved it. We are definitely going back there next year.

Odamız Kıbrıs'a denk geldi yemek dönüşü odaya gidesiye kadar tekrar acıktık evet bu olabilir. --Resepsiyondan odamıza yatak talep ettik öğlen 13'de akşam 20 e kadar gelmedi tekrar resepsiyona gidip "Yatağımız gelmedi, çocuklarımı yatırıcam"/dediğimde "Aaa çok erken yatıyorlarmış" diye hadsiz bir yanıt aldım. __Odanın 2 gün boyunca havluları değişmedi, içeceği geçtim su getirilmedi. __ Balkonumuzdaki fare pisliklerini tanımlamak için gönderilen görevliye odamıza neden temizlik için gelmiyorlar dediğimde yoğunluktan cevabını aldım, BU İŞİ LÜTFEN BIRAKIN, YAPMAYIN 24 MAYIS SEZON DEĞİLDİR ! Ne yoğunluğu ? Daha haziranı, temmuzu, ağustosu var ! __ Aile odasında kaldık bir odada tv var diğer odada yoktu. __ Duşakabinin önündeki fayans derzi kırılmış oradan sızan su yatağın altına ve önüne birikinti oluşurdu oda görevlisinden asansörde karşılaşıp havlu istedim vileda istedim 2 gün boyunca kimse gelmedi. __ Evet kocaman bir balkonu vardı manzarası güzeldi ama kocaman örümcekler ve fare pislikleri olduğundan balkonun kapısını korkuyla açıp kapattık. Çocuklara duyurmayalım ürkütmeyelim diye akla karayı seçtik 10 saniyelik olsun balkona çıkamadık yönetim olarak odanızı değiştirelim demediler kaldığımız günler saatler boyuncq mide ağrısı çektim. Umarım bu sezon son sezonunuz olur bu tatili asla unutmayacağım her aklıma geldiğinde beddua edeceğim ki bu sektörde siz de o hamam böceği gibi ters dönün korkudan gözümüze uyku girmedi. __ Deniz taşlık kestaneli __Havuzların büyüklüğü ideal, çocuklar için olan kısım yeterli ve eğlenceli. __Hamburger yapan türbanlı hanım katiyen hak hukuk sıra gözetmiyor, hamburger için sıraya girip 3 hamburger dediğim halde tabağı çarparcasına 2 hamburger verdi 3 çocuğum var, asla hakkımı helal etmiyorum belki tek başına diye yoruluyordur ama bu davranış doğru değil. __Garsonlar çok saygılı yardım sever ve asla ağızlarını bozmuyorlar bir çok masa garsonların sabırlarıyla oynadı ama işlerini güzel yapıyorlar. __Eşim tabağını alıp kendi temizlemeye gittiğinde sabah kahvaltısında diğer konuklarda kendi gidip temizledi. __Yemekler çeşitli evinde 8 çeşit yemeyen aç kalmaz illa ki doyarsınız. Sabah pankek istediğimde tabağıma su bardağının tabanı kadar olan pankekten 1 tane verdi ve yüzüme baktı bir tane daha istedim yönetim bu aşçıları nasıl korkutuyor böyle koskoca adamlar "yaptığım yalnış ama emir böyle" gibi bakıyor. __Izgara balıkları lezzetli salata, meyve ve mezeler çeşitli herkese göre bir şeyler var ama restorana giden koridorlarda ters dönmüş, ölü hamam böcekleriyle karşılaştık. __ Gece çorbası gibi bir rezillikle karşılaştık, Soner ve Hamza bey ellerinden geleni yaptılar daha iyi yerlerde çalışmalarını dilerim. __Kapımıza bir ne bir özür adına 3 elma gönderildi ya da bir özür mesajı yazıldı. Şikayetlerimizi bağıra bağıra söylediğimiz halde sözle bile olsa telafi edilmedi. 4 aile 4 çocuk 12 kişi paramızla rezil olduk denir ya işte onu HD yaşadık.

Be careful, you may get robbed! We were there at the end of September 2023. On the last day, our mood was spoiled by the information that the cleaners had robbed the entire 6th floor. One lady from Poland had her wedding ring (two weeks after her wedding) and money from her wallet stolen. They even stole things from other people's safes. At the reception they said that we have to take into account that the cleaners may rob us and that they come to clean the room on our responsibility. It's abstract! In that case, they should post such information somewhere or talk about it at check-in, but we did not receive such information at all. And now the rest... We arrived at the hotel around 5:00 in the morning. We politely lined up at the reception desk (we were at the front of the line), but the staff told us to sit down because they would call us by name. Ok, so we went to the couches, but somehow they didn't call anyone and continued serving people who were left in the queue. And so we sat for over an hour until we were left at the end, because there was a queue. ***?! You had to fill out some sheets of paper, but they didn't hand them out to people, you had to fill them out one by one in front of them, which is why it all took so long. Well, ok, we finally managed to get a room after 6:00 in the morning. We go in and there's a mess in the bathroom and everything is sticky with dirt, it's hard, we somehow washed ourselves, but the water doesn't flow too much in the shower tray and you just stand there, and about 15 minutes after finishing washing, magically half of the bathroom floor is flooded . The next day there was a meeting with a resident from ITAKA, we reported these problems to her, she went with us to the reception and told a woman (she was the one who said that we had to take into account that we would be robbed here), who said that everything would be sorted out. settled. Of course, this didn't happen and the drain wasn't cleared, the water kept pouring out and the bathroom wasn't cleaned. The height of rudeness. It also turned out that at check-in we did not receive all-inclusive wristbands or towel cards, and the fact that our room has two single beds is not standard here and our friends (not a couple, same sex) got a single bed. Such great service... In the room at night the light turns on as soon as someone passes in the corridor under the door (from the outside), which is very irritating because you simply wake up. The walls must be made of paper, because you can hear ordinary neighbors' conversations. The beach wasn't that bad (rocky), but a bit dirty. Deckchairs, mattresses and tables were also dirty. What was strange was that sometimes there were large stray dogs walking around the hotel and the area, even drinking water from the swimming pool. It's a bit scary to come here with a small child. We stayed for 6 days with our two children, 7 and 9 years old. We chose the family room. It was the most comfortable and largest room we stayed in during family holidays. It would be better if the room items were renewed, but other than that, our room was perfect. It is very nice to have 2 different adult pools. We noticed the beach part late. We always went into the sea from the pier. The pier is next to the pool. You can exit from there and enter the other. There are plenty of showers and WCs. The sea is warm and clean. The sand is like a carpet under your feet. I especially congratulate the animation team of the hotel. They have a sense of fun and excellent communication that appeals to all ages. My 9-year-old daughter said this hotel obviously loves children 😊 the staff is friendly. The food is very tasty but the variety is less for us. We had a very enjoyable holiday. I was staying in the hotel for a week in August. ROOMS Hotel looks pretty from the fotos, however the hotel is horrible. Rooms are dirty, especially bathroom - bathroom was really old, parts of it was dysfunctional, a lot of mildew. There was a safe in the room, however it was closed. Reception call the guy to open it, however guy was not able, so he called college, who never came. Also the drain was permanently clogged, so it was disgusting stink in the bathroom. Cleaning in the room was awful, the balcony was not cleaned only once in whole week. PERSONAL The hotel is specialized in guests from Turkey, so it is pretty hard to communicate in English with them. The personal was not even trying to be effort to guests and was really unprofessional. Once I was explaining to barmen what the grenadine is (for further explanation the cocktail I wanted was on menu). Once I was showing to barmen in beach bar where the tonic is, as I saw it, however barmen said that I need to go to lobby bar. In the last day there was no tonic in Lobby bar, so they referred me to beach bar. POOL There are never free loungers nearby pool, as guests are leaving their towels from 6am to reserve them. So if you want to go to the pool, there is never lot of people however never free lounger. SEA Sea is nice, however there are a lot of stones, so water shoes are needed. There are a lot of sea urchin, so be careful. FOOD During the day there is a lot of food everywhere. However food is disgusting. During main meals the choose of food is really small. During breakfast there are no fried eggs. During lunch and dinner there really big lines. BEACH TOWELS In my last day there was no towels at 9am at all. Each time you want to take a towel you will be offered a massage, which is ok for the first few days, but after that time it is really annoying. RECEPTION I had a trip one day so I wasn’t able to go to breakfast and lunch. I asked on reception for lunch box (normal practice in normal hotel), but hotel do not prepare them. I was offered to go to the breakfast before opening hours, however in the morning the staff from restaurant did not allow it, as it is forbidden. PLEASE, IF YOU FROM EUROPE, DO NOT CHOOSE THIS HOTEL.

The hotel is medium in quality. Its dirty here, but its not that bad. The animation team is amazing, they are fun and they do nice program everyday. The food is nice bud sometimes you have wait in long line to get it. The beach is bad, but if you have shoes to sea then it is ok. But really the best thing about this hotel is the animation team.👏
