Stayed 1 night Oct 22.for a visit to sights in Oxford and Blenheim palace.after reading reviews.good points.parking .good location for bus local amenities.owner was nice and polite.breakfast was just fruit and cereals with egg of your choosing.room was ok.although marks on walls .dust and cobwebs .broken shower door.would not recommended .extractor in bathroom was caked in dust and hair.avoid unless cleaned

The hotel was lovely we stayed 1 night .very clean breakfast excellent staff very friendly perfect location bus straight into city centre parking space at front of hotel or spaces round back of hotel free. Couldnt fault it would stay again if in the area. Ray.

Not a bad B&B , parking is very limited only 4 spaces . It doesn't do a full English breakfast , cereal and eggs any way you like them . It is a 40 min walk into Oxford but we found nothing much to do there cause all the unis were closed cause of the open day for new students but if I was tossing up between Cambridge and Oxford I would choice Cambridge , a much better town I think

Arrived and greeted by the host and shown to room. The room was clean and sufficient. I returned to the room and it was cold throughout the night. I checked the radiators and it was on. The shower took a good few minutes to get up to temperature in the morning and wasn’t that powerful. I went for breakfast feeling very hungry and looking forward to a full English breakfast. The host asked how I wanted me eggs. I requested poached and several minutes later returned. As the plate was put in front of me (with just two rubbery looking poached eggs), I asked were was the bacon and sausage. I was told they only do eggs. I was so disappointed and had to go and get a proper breakfast from a cafe up the road. This place was not the cheapest in the area and the main reason for staying here was the included breakfast and not having to go anywhere else. I was so wrong and would not stop here again.

We stayed in Room 2 for 1 night thinking it's close to both Oxford and Bicester village via driving. Thus the free parking came in really handy. 2 cars could squeeze in at the front and another 4 at the back which was really great. Sainsbury and Tesco express are just about 1min walk away. M&S maybe 5min away, with lots of food options in a relatively quiet town. Great friendly receptionist and check in as well. Room was clean and best part was the TV came with free movie via Rakuten APP (we didn't get this in any of our hotels during our 16 days trip). Only thing was the water heater not being very consistent and had hot and cold water at times (although bathroom was generally good and spacious)... room was abit small but efficient. And for the price we paid, it was good value.

We stayed over night and it was a great stay - very clean and tidy. Very welcoming and great breakfast. Will definitely stay again if in Oxford. Thank you. Would recommend to anyone who wants an affordable stay ⭐️

I booked a single room for one night with shared bathroom while visiting family in Oxford. The guest house is in a perfect location in Summertown, on a direct bus route from city centre with lots of cafes restaurants and shops close by. The 500 park and ride bus goes directly from the railway station to bus stop right opposite the guest house. The attic room was small but spotlessly clean with fresh bedding and towels. The bathroom was modern and also spotless. As the room was in attic it had a velux window in the roof. It didn't close properly meaning if it had rained the rain would have fallen directly on the bed. The guest house is on a very busy main road and the traffic noise was loud even during the night as I couldn't close the window. Also the walls were very thin and i could hear the conversation of the people staying in the room next door. I'd advise guests to remember to take their room key with them when they use the bathroom as i was woken at 6am by a fellow guest who had locked themselves out and needed help! Breakfast was available and there was a bright clean dining room although i didnt have the breakfast. Overall if the window and noise issues were fixed it would have been a great stay its a lovely little guest house in a really convenient location for a visit to Oxford.

Summertown is a nice location for Oxford. Pleasant walk (30 minutes) or short bus ride to central Oxford. The wifi was decent. Walls a bit thin, and the shower leaked water on the bathroom floor, but nothing too bad. The breakfast was very nice, with good coffee and eggs cooked to order.

Lina Guesthouse cancelled our booking on the day of arrival. Initially they said this was because of a covid outbreak at the hotel. We later found out that it was because they had overbooked. We were left stuck late at night in Oxford without accommodation. When we called, the Oyo representative that we spoke to was unable to provide any information or help us to find alternative accommodation.
