Very spacious room, nice place to stay! Highly recommend if your want to hang out in the city.

Our stay at Sonder Rideau left us with mixed feelings. On the positive side, the hotel's proximity to historical sites made it convenient for our travel plans. However, the absence of on-site restaurants was a significant downside, especially for those looking for a seamless dining experience. The cleanliness and overall atmosphere of the hotel didn't meet our expectations. We found ourselves missing the comfort and satisfaction that a well-maintained environment can provide during a trip. It's crucial for prospective guests to consider these aspects when choosing accommodations. In summary, while Sonder Rideau offers a location ideal for history enthusiasts, the lack of dining options and the subpar cleanliness and atmosphere may leave some travelers wanting more from their stay.

Customer service at front desk was excellent. Lounge area on second floor and gym very clean and spacious. Appreciated the locker for luggage. Unfortunately fire alarms awoke us twice the first night and caused significant stress and confusion. The entire bathroom and shower could benefit from a deep clean. Thank you for listening

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Sonder Rideau, must say it was an experience worth raving about. Checking in through the app was extremely easy and provided you with step-by-step, instructions and codes to get to your floor using the elevator and to enter your room. On my second night, I encountered a minor issue with the heating system in my room however I was pleasantly surprised by how swiftly and efficiently the matter was addressed the 24/7 phone number provided by the establishment proved to be a lifesaver and sharing that my concern was attended to promptly. The only means of communication I do not recommend is the 24/7 text-support they do not get back to you as quickly as a live agent on the phone would. The room itself was clean comfortable and thoughtfully designed offering all the amenities one could ask for during a stay away from home, especially with a new infant And travelling for the first time. Attention to detail and the commitment to guest satisfaction was evident in every aspect of my rooms, furnishings and amenities while my experience at the Sonder Rideau overwhelmingly positive I feel compelled to mention that, despite my personal satisfaction, I would not necessarily recommend this establishment to everyone while it met and exceeded my expectations in terms of service and comfort, individual preferences can vary, and what worked for me might not be ideal or fit for others. We absolutely enjoyed our stayed. Thank you.

Great price, updated and spacious rooms. No frills, but all the basics. Central location. The parking was a bit annoying (very small spots and tight underground lanes).

The suite was well appointed and very comfortable. The gym and workout area was also well maintained and enjoyable.

Another great stay at the Sonder. Totally made my first time visiting Canada worth it! Perfect location to get around downtown and as always clean, quiet and great staff.

Great place to stay while in Ottawa. It's like an apartment hotel. I like that mostly everything is self-serve. Staff are always available via chat throoght the Sonder app.

Love the hotel experience. It was home away from home. Spacious and clean. With the evolving society we live in, I found this stay to be extremely practical for our day and age. I will recommend Sonder's to my friends and family.
