Friendly staff, Lawn one of the owners showed us around. Camp is very funky with the attractive island themes which are everywhere. Conveniences , BBQ’s & kitchen etc lovely & clean - pleasure to use. Wonderful location for fishing. Incredible showers covered in cost. A really enjoyable stay, thanks Team

They have nailed the island style - lots of lush mature gardens. There is a quirkiness to the place as well with little surprises everywhere. The campground is well-appointed and clean. It was a short walk to the beach for surf casting and sunsets. The cycle trail is effortless and accessible from the campground. We biked to Opotiki and northwards to the Ohiwa harbour which was all up about 25km. The coffee was great.

We love this camping ground. Clean, tidy, very interesting decor, plus it is on the beach and adjacent to the cycle trail. This is a family friendly place and bad behaviour is not tolerated. Not our first time nor our last. The ladies has just been updated and looks very luxurious.

As a kiwi now living in Oz, it was magic being able to give my kids ‘the true’ Kiwi Camping Holiday, with extra’s that kept everyone happy and left us all saying it was the best holiday ever. The perfect blend of relaxed vibe, awesome amenities, dash of quirk, and great service. All in a stunning setting. We stayed in Deluxe Family cabins which are cleverly designed and the indoor/outdoor kitchen is a detail that made a massive difference - normally a pain point w young kids, camping, but here was a game changer. Oh, great cafe too, and awesome coffee!!

Superb camp; best we have stayed in in NZ...and we've stayed in a lot. A lovely Bali vibe using imported Indonesian wooden fittings . The facilities are of a very high standard and the tariff is very reasonable. The owners & staff compliment the place with a laid back but professional approach. Highly recommended.

The best of the best.This was our second time staying here and we will certainly return again. We had to cancel our Christmas booking due to a medical incident and the reception could not have been more helpful with rebooking us, Since we have been gone the bathrooms have had a glitzy revamp. Gold and mirrors and beautifully tiled showers. The laundry facilities are the best I have seen ANYWHERE. The kitchen is modern and clean with a beautiful outside barbecue area. Has a Bali vibe. The owners are constantly upgrading the facility. The decking around the pool was being redone. This is actually resort level accommodation at an affordable price.

Awesome Campground. Attention to detail is amazing. Ladies toilets are luxurious with beautiful gold rimmed mirrors, tiled showers and beautiful Morrigan and ******* singing bowls for sinks. There is even a laundromat on site. Tennis courts, swimming pool plus right on beautiful Waiotahi Beach. Staff incredibly friendly and helpful and the coffee was top notch from the Cafe . Highly recommend.

My husband & I stayed here two nights to attend a wedding in Opotiki. Right from the point of booking you could tell it was a well organised establishment - we did a late check in due to our drive/arrival time & we were given all the instructions we could possibly need to check in on our own - check in was a breeze. The cabin we stayed in (standard cabin) was in pristine condition - clean & tidy with everything we needed (bedding, towels, fridge, microwave, a selection of hot drinks and milk etc). The communal bathrooms looked to have been newly renovated and felt very luxurious for a campground. The gardens & facilities all had a tropical, fun & quirky design vibe to them - felt like we were on an island in the tropics! The staff were very friendly and helpful and the campground vibe in general was on point & beautifully lit up at night time. Cannot recommend this holiday park enough 😊

Great location with amazing services and many activities available - including volleyball court, swimming pool, tennis court and many more. Rooms are great and well looked after. And GELATO! Need I say more?
