오르비에토 4성급 호텔

Orvieto sits like an island of tuffa, floating above the valley. The city hosts one of the most spectacular cathedrals in Italy. And along its one mile corso, there are many shops and restaurants offering Umbrian dishes, like the famous cingale (wild boar). The Hotel Palazzo Piccolomini is ideally located at one end of the city, near the entrance from the parking area below. You step out the door and follow the narrow streets onto the main Corso. The hotel is surprisingly large, with a fine lobby of bar and sitting areas. The room vary from small but cozy to large apartment like units. An new ”underground' bar (like a cave in the tuffa rock of the city) was under construction while we were there. The people running the hotel are ready with anything you need, including tips on seeing the best of Orvieto. A very pleasant stay!

We loved our one-night stay at this hotel. The town is wonderful, and the hotel is wonderfully situated. We walked the 15 minutes from the top of the funicular. Our room was a corner room on the 5th floor, with a large balcony on one side and a smaller balcony (still large enough for two chairs and a table) on the other side. Breakfast was quite nice. The location is within a ~5 minute walk of a number of great restaurants, several beautiful piazzas including the Duomo. Will definitely be back on a future trip!

우리는 이 놀라운 호텔에서 하룻밤만 보냈지만 이미 2개월 만에 다음 여행을 예약했습니다. 장소는 절대적으로 화려합니다. 절벽 위의 아름다운 도시 오르비에토를 마주보고 있는 이 호텔은 이 지역에 있다면 머물 가치가 있습니다. 오르비에토 여행은 5분이 소요됩니다. 우리 방은 매우 깨끗하고 현대적이며 넓습니다.. 경내는 역사 자체를 걷는 것과 같습니다. 그렇지 않으면 환상적인 이탈리아 지역의 보석.

하늘의 도시 이탈리아에 가서 차로 30분 거리에 있는 오르비에토에 사는 것도 의외로 아름다운 마을이다. 호텔은 또한 매우 따뜻하고 깨끗하며 깔끔하며 시설이 잘 갖추어져 있습니다. 돈을 위해 우수한 가치.

L'arrivo ci ha messi un poco ansiosi sulla scelta. Prima un tragitto tortuoso nella valle tra campagne di Orvieto, e più si andava avanti più sembravamo persi. Finalmente arrivati , da conferma del navigatore e da un cartello, essendo anche in anticipo e il posto chiuso, siamo andati in giro sulla strada che portava ad una diga su fiume/lago. Ma con il dubbio della struttura che non collimava con le informazioni della prenotazione. Dubbio risolto quando al ceck abbiamo scoperto che ci sono più camere ”diffuse” nel territorio intorno e indirizzati, con altro tragitto, a Caio, un ristorante con camere al piano superiore. In cima ad una collina dopo una strada abbastanza impervia di buche, con una vista impagabile sulle valli attorno, la struttura è anche dotata di piscina (aimè impegnata a festa compleanno di bambini), da un bellissimo giardino (aimè occupato da una festa di battesimo ). Camera molto ampia ma ancor più il bagno. Un buon letto, ma consiglio di trovare una soluzione alla tv appoggiata (si appoggiata non bloccata) a comò, non visibile dal letto, a meno di fare una ”operazione” che non descrivo. Silenzio appagante nella notte, un risveglio al mattino per la colazione su un terrazzo coperto con vista impagabile. Colazione mega e soprattutto la gentilezza e la cortesia del personale riscontrata. Posto Ottimo!!

We absolutely loved our stay with Casa Vera! We stayed in the Orchid suite and it was perfect for us. The staff was very nice and helpful and the breakfast had a nice little assortment. The Enoteca was also fun to go to. We did a flight of local wines and had some snacks which were delicious. For dinner, we went to both restuarants they recommended and they were fantastic (Mamma Angela and La Grotta) . We fell in love with the town of Orvieto and can't wait to return.
